I think he was withheld from PSASBR because Nintendo got an exclusivity deal with Kojima.
He'll be revealed when the new MGS hits the WiiU :3

This is a great idea! Have him permanently transform for the remainder of the match (like zero suit samus) with a new move set. Also have a secret way to select him from the beginning

You know what, so would I. Final Smash would be his fire-breathing fatality, except instead of burning the character to a char, it'd just be a OHKO (because T-rating). Grab would be like the hookshot (complete with "GET OVER HERE!").
Well, in that case it only makes sense that Alex is in.
I wonder what her Final Smash will be.
Edit: On a second thought, she'll probably be an Assist Trophy.

I'm really liking the art direction for these so far. I like on Wii U how it's pretty simple and brightly coloured and the 3DS version follows this with more shading on his hair and face. (Anyone know why this is the case?)
I personally think the 3DS game is more visually impressive as we can see what the 3DS can do, but even though the Wii U game is absolutely gorgeous, I know it can do better than that.
Either way, both games are stunning, and i'm liking this shading solution on 3DS, it looks pretty sweet. So hyped.
Edit: Also, if you look closely at both of the shots, you can see thread like detailing on his clothes on both versions. Nice one, Sakurai!

I think because it was ripped from brawl's model were Link had those realistic details.

Quite rightly, Snake should be cut. He has no business in Nintendo's game when Kojima makes excuse after excuse not to put his games on Nintendo consoles. Truthfully, he should be replaced with Bayonetta and also The Wonderful 101 characters - That would be in their interests, and people playing as those characters may in turn decide that they want to play those games, too. I feel that this needs to happen, and I sense that Platinum Games would appreciate it more than Kojima - Until he brings something of note to their consoles, he can fuck off.

None of the models were ripped from Brawl.
Each character is made from the ground up each game.
I thought Sakurai said that they were able to port characters from Brawl and tweak them from there. I might be remembering the quote wrong though.
Yea I know, but I think they used brawl models for reference for the 3DS.
It's like how 3DS TP link looks similar to his brawl counterpart.
That would be a huge time waster.
