Trump may be done? What do you mean exactly?

Tonight was definitely more than a speed bump for Trump.

It seems there was a lag period before all of the negative assaults on his campaign had any effect, but tonight it did.

Cruz won big in 3 states, and Trump barely won the last two states.

It feels like the momentum is starting to deflate from Trump's campaign.

If Kasich and Little Marco drop out, and it turns into a 1v1 battle with Trump and Cruz, I think Trump would be in trouble.

As much as I hate Trump I think Cruz is the worst choice as the GOP candidate. He's so far right and can't even begin to move center. HE wouldn't even want to.

Trump is a populist. He'll say anything to get votes. So he can change his mind when he wants.
Cruz will take over the GOP if he wins and put his own men. He doesn't listen to anyone, its his way or the highway. This is a really disturbing development.

Trump complaining the establishment is talking about running a third party candidate because it'll make it impossible for him to win.

Yeah it's annoying when someone dangles that threat isn't it lol.

Hard to take you seriously when you can't even keep up with how many states were in play.

Neither of them will drop out before it's way too late for Cruz to make up ground.

Trump is likely to win Florida, and grab a huge amount of delegates, especially now that Cruz is trying to sink Rubio in Florida.

I don't think I've seen someone who's praised as "telling it like it is" ever be quite this hypocritical. It's hilarious.

Hahahahhaa I cannot believe that Trump is making the argument to not split the right vote because of the Supreme Court. You couldn't make this shit up.

The hypocrisy is off the charts.

At some point, you have to wonder if Bernie supporters are living in the same reality distortion field as Trump supporters. How many more states will Bernie have to underperform in for fans to acknowledge that his momentum is stillborn?

His northern strategy is going to be his undoing.

I hope Rubio remains in the race even after Florida after he loses there just so I can be entertained by him trying to stay remotely positive after that.

I dunno, still a pretty decisive win in Louisiana, and a strong result considering it was a caucus in Kentucky.

Rubio has to call it quits now.

The split between the early votes and the Election Day votes is jarring, especially in Louisiana. Cruz closed the gap tremendously among late deciders in a way that we really haven't seen in a primary yet.

Normally Trump's leads get bigger not smaller amongst the election day crowd

Trump's response to "make America whole" is to point out how it's a deliberate play on his slogan, but not the same words?

Perhaps part of it was that all of the states were closed, I think. No Democrats or Independents allowed to vote. But yeah, looks pretty bad for Trump.

How big is Florida at this point? I feel the drama building but if Trump can pick that state up I feel like he would be firmly back in control. Like someone mentioned earlier, if Rubio decides to stick around until after Florida, I'd imagine Cruz will have a hard time wrestling this state from Trump.

I think Trump still wants to win it to help avoid the brokered convention scenario.

Trump does suffer if that forces Rubio to drop out and it turns into a two way race, but the latter states do seem to still generally favor him over Cruz, and it would free up Trump to use his absolute control of the conversation to focus entirely on Cruz's weak points.

Man Rubio won't stop even when called to, I can tell just by watching him talk that he's arrogant enough to think he still has a chance.

He said that Hillary was beating Sanders easily until Trump got into it with her and Bill and then Bernie did well as a result. He wishes the media would give him the credit for this he feels he deserves.

Real talk. Fuck Trump. This man is solely running for President to fellate his damn ego.

Sorry. Thought Nebraska had their GOP election tonight as well.

But my point still stands - just take my home state of Louisiana, where polling had Trump ahead by over 15 points - http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/la/louisiana_republican_presidential_primary-4074.html

The only Kentucky poll had Trump up by 13 - http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/ky/kentucky_republican_presidential_primary-3834.html

And right now he's scraping by with less than a 5 point lead in Louisiana, and even less than that in Kentucky.

And then you look at Maine and Kansas, where Cruz absolutely annihilated Trump - with two completely different electorates.

I think Trump's momentum is starting to fade away.

lol @ Trump using reverse psychology and imploring Rubio to drop out. He's trying to calcify Rubio's stubbornness and keep his train chugging.
