But Michigan isn't a winner take all state. Any net gain Bernie would see from even close numbers goes to Hilary as well.
But from a marketing perspective you still get to call it a win and hope it gives you momentum.

At least you hope it does.

Sanders is losing Michigan every minute it seems. Trump is just pulling away though with Michigan. Kasich just playing spoiler.

Rubio never stood a chance no matter what he did. Guy was a joke from the beginning that I'm surprised anyone thought he had a chance.

To be honest the whole field was a big crowd of jokers. That's why Trump is doing so well. They're a bunch of low-level scrubs feeding the Trump-monster. Jeb! was delicious.

Usually people win their home states. Why is everyone so bearish on Rubio's prospects in FL? Cruz won Texas for example, and people even expect Kasich (of all people, the last place dude) to win Ohio.
Cruz was ahead in most Texas polls. Rubio is not ahead in Florida polls.

Cruz was leading Trump in Texas polls before ST.

Marco is losing to Trump in FL polls.

Ya, but if he "wins" Michigan, he can go into Super Tuesday 2 saying he beat Hillary in a place where the polls say he couldn't.

Let's not lie to ourselves. Hillary needs this one to truly curb the Sanders momentum. Obviously if she loses, she's still the favourite, but this feels like the moment where she can crush him once and for all.

Can you guys recommend some Twitter people worth following for coverage of the elections?

It ends on the 15th regardless.

Won't matter to Sanders supporters. They'll see it as "we were winning, and it ended up being really close. Let's keep fighting."

If you're trying to make yourself the victim, its not working. Not when you started the shit posting.

Not the victim. I'm accusing many of you of knee-jerk, defensive nonsense in response to my admittedly petty shit-posting. I say nothing about blacks yet I'm accused of claiming black votes don't matter.

The south is factually less liberal.
Hillary is arguably the less liberal democrat.

The above are hardly controversial statements, but in the hands of some posters here, it becomes the equivalent of hate-speech.

I think this is as relevant as it always has been.

There hasn't been a single poll where he beats Trump and outside of Miami Cubans the demographics match up perfectly with where a Trump has dominated.

Sadly, I think its to late to stop him. Their fault for waiting this long.

He will just have to get crushed and embarrassed in the GE I guess.

Why do you want him to lose so bad? A Trump nomination secures the White House for the dems and may very well shatter the republican party. We should be begging the repubs to nominate him (or cheat away his victory)

Damn, Hillary's now tied Michigan and Wayne County (Detroit) hasn't even come in yet. Neither has Grand Rapids and other urban areas for the most part.

And Mississippi... Bernie getting only 11%. Is there a threshold there? is it possible that Bernie comes out of Mississippi with 0 delegates? It happened to Hillary in Vermont.

Can only speak for myself: I'd rather have a brokered convention and shatter the GoP once and for all.

A contested convention doesn't mean they even have to pick from the nominees, they could put up whoever they wanted, and I somewhat doubt it's Kasich they'll put up.

They'd need to change the rules to do it and i think Cruz and Trump would scream bloody murder if they tried. Right now they can only nomination someone who wins 8 states.

They'll say that, but this will be the first time they won't feel it. I've been to their subreddits (r/politics and its subdivision, r/sandersforpresident) and the narrative there has been "we need this win if we want to stay in this...!" I full expect them to backtrack if they lose, but it'll definitely be a serious morale blow, especially when you consider how much the Sanders campaign has been openly banking on this win.

Well, the slightest mistake could elect him. Then what? Ooops, sorry! I'd rather we face off against Cruz, have a better chance at that. Kasich is the one we should worry about, but he has no chance.
