Damn. Deathstroke's got moves.

I miss him. :(

Anyway, the confirmed villains so far are:
Vartox, Hellgrammite, Reactron, Livewire, Red Tornado, Non, Toyman...and pilot finale spoiler:
Kara's aunt

Seriously, the second half of Season 2 was just so goddamned epic, primarily cause of Slade. Arrow hasn't matched that level of intensity since.

But if he had said she was "adorable"..lol. Jeb! Ya fucked up..
She kept him safe brah. All his fears, insecurities, and inferiority are enclosed like a Russian nesting doll whenever he thinks of her embrace. Her femininity and strength enthralls him and guides him like an Invinsible Hand in the landscape of boyhood dreams. Like the great Ronald Regan, the thought of her makes his sweat trickle down his brow as blood rushed through him like a "well regulated Militia," his right to bare Arms would not be infringed upon.

Hope so.

Maybe season 2.

Interview with Melissa Benoist about the show: http://www.teenvogue.com/story/melissa-benoist-supergirl-interview

There was a showing of the pilot at a naval base for military families, and the cast was there: https://vimeo.com/143317753

Pretty neat. They've been doing a lot of screenings all over the country for the show, and the cast is sometimes there.

I'll never complain about character models in Marvel Heroes again.

In DC Universe Online's defense, it came out in the beginning of 2011, and was developed as a PlayStation 3 and PC game.

I haven't played it much, but so far, I like how it feels more like a 3D beat 'em up, and it plays well with a controller. I could never get into any other MMO's, or that MOBA stuff.

2011 was 4 years ago. Not 10 years.

I know how to count and tell time. :p

It's an MMO. You gotta make something that runs on as many different configurations as possible, while having a lot of players at once. They rarely look all that great (there's a few exceptions, though).

Do CBS shows go up on Hulu next day?

Generally, no. CBS network offerings aren't put up on Hulu next day. They have a deal for some past seasons of CBS shows, like Elementary, The Good Wife, etc but I haven't seen them do the next day thing. And very few of their current shows are even on Hulu.

CBS does have its own streaming service, free week trial and then it's $5.99 a month.

Thank you. I'll make sure to catch the show when it airs.

Fuck that. Guess I'll just wait until it's on Netflix then.

My family has been able to watch CBS shows online on their site for free the next day, so it should be true for Supergirl as well.

Access Hollywood interviews with the cast:

Melissa Benoist (Supergirl): http://www.supergirl.tv/access-hollywood-interview
Jenna Dewan Tatum (Lucy Lane), David Harewood (Hank Henshaw), and Mehcad Brooks (James Olsen): http://www.supergirl.tv/access-hollywood-interviews-pt-2

And here's a new pic from the TV Guide photoshoot (which I used for two avatars in my other post):

Thanks, man

No problem! I thought that one might be one of the first claimed. Hah.

If this show sees several seasons of success, I wonder if there will be confusion when Captain Marvel comes out. Cara Danvers....Carol Danvers...

"Omg what a ripoff of Supergirl" etc.

- Vulture: Supergirl Is a Smart, Feminist Series (and That’s Why Some People Won’t Watch It).
But it would be wrong to describe it as fluff or light entertainment. It’s about what it’s about, but it’s also about what it represents. It’s a series that’s in conversation with all the superhero entertainment that preceded it, and it speaks insistently and clearly to make absolutely sure that it’s being heard.
this is a feminist series that’s aware of the cultural and political implications of everything it’s showing us, whether it’s Kara taking issue with a prototype of a costume with a bared midriff or defeating a brawny, hateful, openly sexist foe by, essentially, destroying his symbolic phallus.
I don’t want to come across as unreasonably enthused about Supergirl because CBS only saw fit to send out the pilot. There could be a precipitous drop in quality in the next few weeks, for all we know. But what’s onscreen here is intelligent, sensitive, and sure-footed, and altogether promising. The show knows what it’s doing and what it’s about.
- TVLine: Supergirl Review: CBS Drama Powered by Smart Casting, Sense of Awe.
The good news is that Benoist, just as fellow Glee alum Grant Gustin did with The Flash, inhabits Kara Zor-El/Danvers with a contagious exuberance, once she has cause to let fly with her powers in the course of saving a crashing airplane. The Gustin comparison is important, because two years ago there were those who stomped feet and deemed him “wrong for the part” (based on this, that or the other superficial thing) — but when he made his debut, they were proven wrong in a… jiffy.
