At first I didn't think including Krypto was a good idea but I liked the scene.

I want to be in this movie's side, but it just seems distracted by something. Corenswet looks like Superman should, but he's not expressive. I think Gunn's giving him that direction because he's afraid of leaning too much into his smart aleck Star Lord archetype or his overly stupid earnest thing with Drax and Mantis.

Everything about the movie is so understated. The suit isn't visually striking and isn't showing off Corenswet's physique - which might be intentional because he didn't get much of any time to lean down after the bulk. He's barely said shit in any of the trailers, which is a problem because how Clark talks is a big part of his charisma. Luthorcorp is just a stupidly bad alternative to LexCorp. Hawkgirl looks bad and was totally miscast. Guy Gardener looks bad and is too fucking old. Why they're even in this movie is beyond me.

He isn’t better than average man. He is super. Essentially invincible. I like him especially the old version of truth and justice because despite all the power he chose to do right.
