in the last issue of PC Gamer.

Chris Taylor's successor to Total Annihilation: doesn't look as good as AoE3 but we all know it's all about gameplay.

Scans are up on GA nemesis forum ;)

yeah ive had that PC gamer for about a week... figured someone already posted about Supreme Commander. It sounds fucking awesome.

Guild Wars got an 85% I think (at work right now).

Finally! TA is the best RTS I have ever played. This game putted my Pentium 133 on is knees back in the time. :lol And the soundtrack was really great too.

i dont remember TA as fondly as some of you (ie i liked starcraft, red alert 2 and WC3 better) should i reinstall and try again or what??

EA dropped this? Serious?

Well GPG announced they were making an RTS for EA last year...and the article says a publisher had the rights to this game and turned it down.

We can't post magazine scans here, right? Too bad, but browse around TA-Universe if you want to see them.

I can't even come close to expressing my utter joy at hearing this news. TA is one of my top 3 games of all time.

very cool :D too bad i didnt find DS2 beta very enjoyable at all... hopefully RTSes rekindle mr taylors creativity

Hmm I seem to remember Phatagram working on the TA sequel at one point in time.

They were before the whole NCsoft thing happened, that was years ago so i think we can presume TA2 KIA.

Maybe Atari will revive it now Taylor has a 'pretender' on the scene.

Personally my loyalty is to Taylors RTS games not the TA name, it wasn't exactly a rich universe.

I would love to see Phantogram do it in the KUF/99 nights engine though, 1000's of peewees on screen would make me giggle like a school girl.

First online preview (with more info) and lots of stories will be coming in the next week or so on GameSpy. Currently wrangling over an embargo date.

btw, what happened to Atari's internal Baldur's Gate game ? it was supposed to be at E3. Not that i care, the real BG3 is the Black Isle's coffin.

who cares about the TA licence ? the TA universe is generic, TA is about great gameplay.

Seems like they've been "removed at the request of PC Gamer". Sucks, I wanted to know about this game too. Oh well, allegedly it'll be showing up at GameSpy soon so I'll find out about it there I guess.

press release.. not much info though..
