I was about to post this. Good riddance, I'm surprised a site filled with pirated torents was up for so long

Could care less about Suprnova as you always got lousy speeds.

The "no known mirrors" thing happens all the time... it's just a problem with their script. In the past, they've fixed it a few hours later. If/when it goes down for real, it'll be something more obvious I think.

Which I do, but where will I get the rest of my Darkwing Duck episodes? The Tick animated series? I loved Suprnova because it had stuff that isn't being sold at stores, not because I could be a cheapskate.

Aww man, how am I gonna watch US programmes early now?

I only ever really used Suprnova to download television episodes from the states Smallville, 24 etc. Now I have to wait until they air in the UK? Or just look elsewhere. But it was convenient. RIP Suprnova.

Suprnova only was a mirror. People posted torrents, but the torrent were already in circulation. So if you remember what group was sharing the Darkwing Duck episode, you could find their site, and at the same time their IRC Server.

basically it sounds like "we're redoing the site and we're about to do a full scale launch of our Napster/Bittorrent bastard child, check back soon" (because they aren't going to be hosting any torrents anymore... =P)

Is there a point to torrentspy the program? Seems pretty useless to me since ABC tells you most of that info anyway, I'm assuming pestul was referring to the much more useful torrentspy website. Google brings up both near the top of the search page....

Crap, that sucks my favourite torrent site = gone. Pretty understandable, many major torrent site's have problems at the moment.

Tons of great movies I'd never have seen if it wasn't for Nova such as the Korean stuff like Save the Green Planet and Oldboy. Fuck the MPAA up the arse.

For TV links, BT Efnet is just as good as Suprnova (that's where Suprnova got most of their torrent links from anyway).

:lol Seeing people cry is great, I could honestly care less about this.. the last time I used Suprnova.. I can't even remember the date.

Regardless the site was in horrible condition whenever I checked it, it was slow, buggy, etc. I'm glad to see it go, it was like Old Yeller, but I couldn't get the rifle. :\
