Switch 2 - Handheld Boost Mode for Switch 1 games!

The Nintendo Switch 2 has just released its latest system version 22.0.0 , introducing Handheld Mode Boost - that provides docked mode features in handheld mode to enhance visuals on many Switch 1 titles that run via backward compatibility. We dive into this new feature, showcasing gameplay comparisons with the boost mode on and off to highlight the visual and performance differences and talk about some notable issues when running games in this mode that can take away from the experience.

So weird how some games actually perform worse...you can (potentially) add Crysis 2 to that list as well. It's seemingly running at a less stable 30fps in boost mode. I wonder what's going on here...🤔
I saw Ni No Kuni II with slowdown in the overworld before I saw someone make a video about it. Some games, it seems, are better with boost mode off.

I can imagine that at a non-dynamic higher resolution, the handheld mode of Switch 2 cannot keep up with the framerate target.
Although that makes me wonder whether handheld Switch 2 is more or less powerful than docked Switch 1.
