Switch 2 In-Stock and READILY Available

Micro-Center dopped the price on the Switch 2 to $400.

Nintendo says "Plz buy a Switch 2"

As you can see, 25+ In-Stock, and it's Christmas season as well.

It's not just this store either, literally near all of them have 25+ in-stock.

It's not just Micro-Center either, I can go to Best Buy, Target, Costco, etcetera and get one of many Switch 2's on the shelf right now.

Ready for the excuses of "oh it's the economy", "people don't have spending power", and a million other excuses.

The reality is, the Switch is no longer the new kid on the block anymore.

Switch 2 is iterative, and many of the casuals who bought don't need nor care about it.

I assure you all, the Switch 2 will end up selling maybe half of the original.

These days are no more...

I mean, that's the reality. Hardware sales across the board haven't been this low for a November since 1995. It's not just Nintendo.

The Switch 2 should be riding of the momentum of it being a new console.

The Switch 1 and 2 combined, literally sold less than Switch 1 since a year ago.

Mind you, the Switch 1 was basically on life support, at this point.

It's basically the last remaining brick-and-mortar tech store. Kind of like Radio Shack, but 50 times bigger and better, and more based around computers.

It's pretty awesome. I've bought so much computer gear there.
 
We already did this to death when most stores dropped the price $50 for Black Friday. Though, unlike Micro Center, this was just for the Mario Kart bundle. Still though, is it hard to understand that a console might get discounted for the holidays? It used to be the norm.
 
All this thread is doing is making me realize how lucky I am to have a Micro Center nearby.

how about doing this for any store that isnt a micro center- store known for specialising in selling PCs and not consoles
 
If there were no consoles in stock, this dumbass would find a way to twist that into something negative for Nintendo too.

STFU and crawl back into whatever hole you crawled out of.

That's your first mistake. Around here you're supposed to make predictions purely based on feelings. Consoles will be with us forever and physical media is likely to see a huge boom soon. Sell your AI investments and put it into blu-ray stocks. Young people have never been more interested in closed ecosystems. The future is bright.

Just because stock is available doesn't mean it's not selling. In fact, most retail outlets have reported that the Switch 2 is getting steady and consistent resupplies. Nintendo themselves said they held off from releasing it last year during the holidays so that they could build up additional stock in their supply chain so that anyone who wanted a console wouldn't have to resort to paying scalpers.

I'm also pretty sure that after the first few weeks of launch (when demand was super high) they've been available to buy directly from Nintendo. They literally made tens of millions of these things.

Yeah, and I recall the Wii U breaking records as well during the initial period.

We know how that one worked out...

The Switch 2 will obviously sell much better than the Wii U, however it will set FAR less than the Switch 1 for a multitude of reasons.

Been plentiful in stock for months from what I've seen, well, outside of Japan of course.

There seems to be some cognitive dissonance between seeing it available and simultaneously selling extremely well.
