Did you look this up now or had this prepped? Haha. Interesting. I'm not sure if that's a reliable source, but it's interesting.

Thank you, a great and terrible mystery has been solved.it's one of the obstructions in wiiu3's story mode! i hate looking at it!
also whoa the 3ds3 fan translation is looking slick
My pro-controller has lost sensitivity in the top right, most of the time a hit doesn't registerer. I'm pretty gutted as I have no idea how to go about getting it repaired and think they are no longer available to buy a replacement, not that I'd want to drop another £200.
Anyone else had issues?

Also it's come along very far, better than anyone could have asked for really.
Hopefully they will announce a second vita Taiko next year.
And wow, the PS3 port of Taiko Arcade (inside Yakuza 5) is terribad. Framerate is super unstable and hit detection is awful.

Dear Taiko Drum Masters: Is the Vita game worth it knowing I won't be getting any of the DLC? Where would you rank it with the 3DS games i.e. should I get the newest 3DS game instead?
Jeez, that's really disappointing. Sorry to hear about that.
Hori seems to offer some repair services on their products, so that may be worth looking into. There's gonna be a fee associated, but it's obviously significantly less than getting a new one. And I'd personally be far too scared to open it up and try to handle it myself (though if you really feel so inclined, it seems there's some videos around detailing the process of opening it up).
Late reply but my controller is even worse now, hugely disappointing and I'm in UK so no chance to realistically send it back until I go to Japan so I think I'll attempt a home repair... I had a look around but couldn't find any videos or pages, do you have a link?
Is Kare Kano-Kanon on any of the 3DS versions? There definitely not in the DLC but are they unlockable? I have all three of the 3DS games and the DS games (it's in Mechha DS but the 3DS versions are so much better)
How is every one's pro controller doing? Makes me pretty damn skeptical about buying something so expensive.
Someone pointed out via here - http://www.gamasutra.com/view/press...s_of_and_Taiko_Drum_Master_in_Development.phpedit: oh also taiko confirmed for switch which was obvious but whatever. region free is dope, i just need confirmation of multiple accounts per system so i can get DLC and stuff

That apparently since Bamco US mentioned Taiko Drum Master is in development that they are looking to release it in English...
We'll see!

I hit Everest today. I've been trying to perfect this for awhile now and finally did it today. I really wish I could get good at Oni, but the note charts are just insane. Does anyone play it with buttons because I can't find many tips on how to improve while using buttons. I'm kinda stagnated at Hard right now. Song is brutal, a ton of hand swapping and tricky patterns and a tempo change in the middle. Feels good. Only classical song I don't have done is the medley. It has one section in the beginning I can never get through perfect.
Yeah it is, for sure. I figured I'd update - I have gotten better on Oni, but nowhere close to perfecting 7 star songs yet - however, before it was I couldn't complete most of them. Now I can complete most of them. Even some 8 star ones are doable but I stumble through them. Saitama 2000 is helping me with Oni quite a bit, even though I'm aware it's the easiest 2000 song by far and I had it perfect on Hard within a few tries. I can do the entire first part flawless (that k note in the middle string tripped me but I've gotten that down) but it's got a ton of ddkdd after that which I can sometimes make it through but other times I break and start to do ass. On Hard if I break, even on the most difficult stuff I can recover, but Oni I sometimes ruin the entire song if I fuck up once. 3DS3 seems to have way harder Hard songs than the older games. I've been mostly playing 3DS2 and DS2, with some Wii U 3 thrown in every now and then and even from 2014 to 2016 it seems to have gotten near 7 star Oni level difficult, just without the huge note chains. I have perfected some of them but Outride a Crisis is kicking my ass. I can get like 600 in and break. I've noticed overall there are songs that go way over 3 minutes now and it might be that too that's tripping me up with 3DS3.Yeah, Natsu Matsuri is a great one for practicing Oni. That being said, Oni is just fucking hard.
