I was tempted not to watch, but damn, it's hilarious. This movie cannot come soon enough. Kim Jong Il is a bit too similar to Cartman, but it's still really, really funny, so I'll forgive the voice.

Not Cartman, the chinese guy who owns the City Wok.
The accent yes, but the speech patterns and diction are straight Cartman.

I am interested in this movie....but I have yet to see anything remotely funny in the trailers and clips. They're gonna have to do better than a guy with a stereotyped Asian accent saying "Buttfucker".

They showed a fight scene at ComicCon.

It was hilarious. I'm glad they're not spoiling the joke in the trailer.

Uh, that scene was also shown at ComicCon, sans the timecode stuff. :)

I really liked the Q&A that followed...

I can't help but be a little disappointed with that - I mean, Kim Jong Il is Cartman with a fake Asian accent, and they're not even trying to hide it ("You're breaking my balls!").

For anyone interested, there are links to various behind-the-scenes clips (including parts of the Comicon presentation) here. Scroll down a little.

While I am somewhat interested in this movie - my interest hasn't risen to the level where I would actually go and see it. Takes a lot to get me past that point of inertia these days.

A funny and unique concept with horrible horrible execution. If I were paid, I would see this. However, thusfar it would appear to be incredibly not funny. But then again, I hate South Park.

Was it to much to ask to have 'professional' voice actors?

oh my god, why would you say that? that would kill half the frigging humor in the movie! trey and matt's voicework is hilarious, and is a constant theme in what they do.

god, it just amazes me someone would ask for professional voice actors in a trey/matt flick... its like "WTF are you thinking?!"
