I like how Cashworks and Gorge can make TF2 in windowed mode get 25 fps or less sometimes, on a 1GB 5850.
I guess not doing dual-core rendering holds it back, but I'd rather keep the other core free (e8400 3.0 GHz) and the temperature down.
I also like how despite everyone saying superfetch frees up instantly if applications need it on Vista, I can use 85% of 4GB of memory running three web browser windows (one IE, two firefox with tabs), TF2, a text editor, and a chat client. There are a couple other minor windows but still. And then if I'm nearly full I'm pretty SURE that there's actually a palpable delay while it frees up some memory for me to use, instead of the instant claims I thought people were tossing about.
Maybe I'm just being silly, but I thought Windows 7 used less than this, so hopefully my memories of the RC aren't rose-tinted when I install home premium and stop using Vista again.
