Sometimes I like to believe that the update is taking forever because of the difficulty of rebalancing the Quick Fix along with adding a new Medigun. Then Forkball posts and I remember the real reason why.

Hey, at least you weren't Forkball (I think it was Forkball anyway). I shot the poor bastard mid rocket jump and then he died from falling damage. It might have actually been Oreo as a demo, I'm not sure, I did it a few times to people rocket/sticky jumping last night.

I had used the Machina pretty heavily since it came out, and now I'm back to the classic sniper rifle. Truth is, the Machina is honestly really balanced as is if you ask me. I never realized how useful being able to shoot without scoping can be, especially if you don't carry a secondary SMG. Also, I shit you not, you can go unnoticed significantly longer without that damn tracer; if people see a tracer fire from the sniper's roost on High Tower, it attracts all sorts of untouchables... fucking spies, scouts, soldiers, demos. Filthy sub-classes.

You just don't use the Machina in open maps like High Tower. You use it in clusterfucks like dustbowl/goldrush.

Well, I'm not saying it has no use, just that it isn't so spectacularly better that it needs to be nerfed as is. It has its place for certain maps, which seems to me to be a good definition of balance.

Also, I am excited for OT4, even though it don't mean nuthin'.

No but in a KotH game I was in the middle of a rocket jump to the roof over the point to stop a cap and I'm pretty sure I got hit with a force a nature which sent me flying backwards. Didn't die though. I guess it could have been you. It sounded like a shotgun blast to me but maybe. Also on Payload Race I was by a cliff and you shot me and I fell off lol.

I have never been made a fool of in this game so badly.

Nope. The extra damage is unneeded and should only apply to penetration hits. There's no reason to reward people for bodyshotting (this is the same problem I have with the piss gun).

I've played DOTA2 twice, both times I won and both times I found it to be pretty boring. Obviously I am too good for it.

Play with pepper, bors, fork, and yasae for a bit and you won't keep that 100% winrate for very long...

It's hard to even bodyshot people, so I think it's fun to have a gun that rewards people for it. If you can sit still long enough to bodyshot multiple people at the same time, it's even more fun!

More gun, more fun. It's the fun factor!

Yeah, if the payload race you're talking about was Hightower then I remember that. I was ~30-6 on that map, because no one ever really bothered to come backstab me. My only deaths were basically some soldier rocket jumping and blasting me while I was zoomed/not paying attention.

Also, Blizzard is right. More gun, more fun! Seriously though, firing with the Machina is a blast. The sound effect and the tracer make me feel like some sort of super sniper.
