Too many are being conditioned from childhood now. See: MTXIf you don't buy into their gambit they cannot make you.
Now would be a good time for China to flood the market with cheap RAM.
But companies make RAM in China, how China would oversupply? Now would be a good time for China to flood the market with cheap RAM.
I think is more a consequence, that companies like MS and Nvidia would love. Nvidia already said they aren`t a game company anymore, I think maybe they will release one more series of GPU, but maybe will be their last for B2C.While I have no doubt they would LOVE that, also never never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by ignorance.
The big tech companies are far too inept to orchestrate a run on memory in order to make you rent a cloud gaming service. This is all just a happy little accident for them. It is literally impossible for this memory shortage to all be a malevolent plan to get you on streaming. Rather, they are planning to use the memory for AI.
I'm sure he goes over all this in the video. This guy is good, never leaves shit out so everything I say he has already thought of.
Tech Jesus.
Thank you. I had no idea he was known and if i should give him a click. I will watch the video now.PC gamer hardware analyst, reviewer. Does a little console stuff as well. Also, very much a consumer advocate and corporate watch dog.
aren't there US sanctions in place to stop them having the equipment to make modern chips? Now would be a good time for China to flood the market with cheap RAM.
WW3 is going to be fought with gamers fighting over RAM.
What is this from?

This. I don't have any subscriptions anymore, it's honestly freeing. If you don't buy into their gambit they cannot make you.
It helps me sleep at night knowing the same people that yelled at others about how MTX and subscription services were a good thing, it helped developers, helps players with less time, etc and in the end they brought upon their own apocalypse.Too many are being conditioned from childhood now. Have you ever signed up for internet? They provide you the equipment, sometimes for a fee.Look, i'm all for a good conpiracy theory, but this one makes no sense. There cant exist an end-goal plan to end home computing and exchange it for cloud, because you need home computers for streaming in the first place.
You cant sub to anything if you dont have some type of computer that can process video, apps, internet protocols and so on.

Smart tvs are computers, they have ram and everything, often in similar amounts to pcs from 4gb to 16gbLarry Ellison was clamoring for thin client PCs a couple of decades ago. Before then we had dumb terminals. Today, smart TVs would suffice.
MS wants to make Windows a cloud OS as well. With tons of sub add-ons.If all you need is a TV to play games then no one will buy PC hardware... as a consequence no one will have a PC... as a consequence no one will need Windows... as a consequence MS will have screwed themselves.
I only said this on the matter

Better than watching digital foundry practically bursting into tears of despair every video that most PC gamers still are not playing at 4k with minimum 16GB VRAM and begging people to upgrade.Hes a knowledgeable tech guy but his persona has shifted in recent years to just be a guy who complains at everything.
Quoting from two days ago, not two years ago.
You've lost your touch man.

Generally speaking, a computer needed to stream still meets the requirements to play games locally. In fact, smart tvs also allow you to download mobile apps and games that run on the hardware.Correct. But isn't the distinction being made here between computers that can play locally versus computers only capable of streaming?
