Tecmo reported poor earning...ouch!!!

"Tecmo blamed the delayed release of Dead or Alive 4 (pictured) for the disappointing earnings results, as the game was only on sale for two days before the end of the fiscal year. "

lol

They should be solid if they release DOAX2 (which I know I'll be buying) this year :lol .

...I didn't even know a new Monster Rancher came out :\ , and didn't Tokobot receive fairly poor reviews?

Yeah, xbots aren't dedicated enough to buy games that aren't out :P

mmm.....did you read that part where it says ' For fiscal 2006, Tecmo adjusted its net profit forecasts down to $4.7 million, and its sales forecasts down to $101 million.'

Xbots only buy FPS :lol

Well, Tecmo makes games for PS2 also...it's just Team Ninja that doesn't.
Exactly, it's games like Monster Rancher, Tokobot, and Fatal Frame that don't sell. They should support all platforms more.

Reading is fundamental, because they blamed the delay of DOA4 on their earnings. Didn't DOA4 have top selling honors virtually everywhere upon release. On just two day.

if that's the case then why they still adjusted 2006 fiscal year revenue to be down from already poor performance in 2005

Ah well that'll be because DOA4's legs are as brittle as the porcelain characters it stars </rimshot>

apparently not since ps2 owners are fucking retards when it comes to buying ports of fantastic games (RE 4!)

p.s. i own a ps2... and bought RE 4. i am a champion

Ninja Gaiden Revolution FTW.

I don't think Tecmo is putting Ryu on the same platform when they are coming out with a game based on some dude named Hard Gay.

now that they are in financial troubles they are crawling back to develop for other consoles

:lol :lol
I was actually waiting for this to happen with tecmo :D

So...Why doesn't MS bail them out with a cash injection?

It sold nearly 400,000 in the US so far, and the PS2 version in Japan sold more than the GC version. It's not so bad, don't know about Europe though. Still either way , the game deserved greater sales though.
