Via Variety.

No details on the role, sadly, but I love this casting. Ted is also known for his roles in 'Monk', 'Heat', and 'Shutter Island'.

It's never happening, but I can't help but imagining a reality where's he'e been cast to play Lewis Dodgson from Jurassic Park.. where the fuck did that guy go!?

Ted joins Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Justice Smith, Toby Jones, Daniella Pineda, Rafe Spall and BD Wong. Filming starts in a few weeks at the end of this month!

I watched Monk for years not knowing he was the Silence of the Lambs killer.

When I finally learned it, it blew my mind.

I have a Ted Levine story. I once saw him at a breakfast joint with a family (15+ years ago). There was a very young girl there, and Ted (I believe) was joking with her, and putting on a clown nose and saying "AM I YOUR CLOWN? AM I YOUR BIG FUNNY CLOWN?" With his weird deep "was she a great big fat person?" voice.

I was traumatized and Mrs. Stinkles didn't get why.

He was also the axe murdering bad guy in Last Action Hero.

Yep, this would be unintentionally and perhaps hilariously terrifying.

I mean, I know why the actor isn't coming back, I just meant the character in general.

However, I think they'll steer clear of even recasting him. It just always struck me as odd that he didn't return in TLW or the other films prior to that stuff coming to light.

Supersonic, idiotic, disconnecting, not respecting, who would really ever wanna go and top that
He was also Diane Kruger's boss on the US version of The Bridge. Really liked him there.
