I wish it still existed! For starters, I'm a huge cereal fan. When I was growing up my grandparents would spoil me and my siblings by sending huge boxes full of all the sugar cereals that my mom would never buy. Sometimes, after dinner I would even ask to eat a bowl of cereal for dessert. I'm a total connoisseur of cereal. I've tried everything from the nasty and healthy stuff like wheat-bran to the old style of Trix cereal (think KIX, but Trix flavored... so good). But nowadays, I mostly eat cereal before I go to sleep. Nothing beats a full stomach of cereal to sleep on.

More to the point, one of my all-time favorite cereals was TMNT cereal, and not just because of the awesome name. To this day, you can find marshmallows in every type of cereal imaginable... except one: Rice Chex cereal. Rice Chex cereal is a neutral flavored cereal that is low on sugar. I love Rice Chex just by itself, believe it or not, but add marshmallows and it becomes amazing. And that my friends is exactly what TMNT Cereal was back in the day. Since then, you can't find Rice Chex cereal with marshmallows anywhere, not even as an off-brand. WTF?????????????????????????????????? I miss my TMNT Cereal! :(

YES! But the box is probably the coolest looking box of cereal ever produced, lol.

I dont know if Canada had the TMNT cereal but we did get free glow-in- the-dark TMNT tattoos in every box of Whole Wheat Shreddies which was the worse cereal you could target at kids.

I miss themed cereal. Maybe I just don't pay attention as much anymore but it felt like every popular animated show had a cereal.

I was a fiend for the Jurassic Park 2 cereal. It was amazing.

That looks like Mini Wheats stuffed with Lucky Charms marshmallows.
Rather than Mini Wheats, it's Frosted Chex (which was an actual Chex product for a while, I wish it was still around).

This cereal resurfaced as Spider-Man cereal while the 90's cartoon was out. it was the exact same thing

I loved the Spider-Man cereal that came out when Spider-Man the Movie came out. It was blue and red Honey Comb-esque cereal, but the web-shaped bits were simultaneously smoother and crunchier than the long-standing brands

hot damn, I used to own that bowl.

Same here--I think it may have been packaged with the cereal itself at one point.

What´s wrong with tropical oils?

They're overloaded with saturated fats. They are terrible for your health.

Why not just buy any cereal with marshmallows, pick them out, and put them with rice chex?
I'm probably going to have do just that. You can get a big bag of Marshmallow Mateys (the generic Lucky Charms cereal) and separate the marshmallows pretty good by shaking the bag

Honestly, I'm not sure why I haven't tried that, yet.

I want to know when companies decided that cereals need to stay crunchy in milk, longer. Soggy cereal is what is supposed to happen. Some of the great textures of past cereals no longer exist. Trix is a big one that I remember. Honeycomb Cereal is completely different now and for the worse, imo. There are others, too, but my mind is completely blank at the moment. Am I alone in preferring soggy cereal? I love Grape-Nuts cereal, but I always let the cereal sit for a little bit first, because I like my cereal mushy, lol.

one time as a kid, i made myself a bowl of frosted flakes and let it sit for like 40 min before even touching it so it would be soggy and more importantly so the milk would be a sugary euphoria. it turned out gross, I dumped the whole thing down the drain.

ROFL that's hilarious. But top marks for effort in my opinion! Unrelated to cereal, has anyone ever taken a glass of milk and mashed as many graham crackers into it and eaten the messy result with a spoon? It's amazing! It also works with oreo cookies. Not sure which one is less healthy, probably the oreos.

You can buy dehydrated "cereal" marshmallows separately

In the south we sometimes break up cornbread and put it in a bowl or glass of milk. Mmmm.

Cornbread is good, too, although I prefer my cornbread with butter. Now I'm starting to think of all the different things that go good in a bowl of milk. Blackberries with a little bit of sugar on them. Also, when I was little, sometimes I would spend the night at a friend's house whose mom would put rice in milk with cinnamon and sugar for breakfast. I remember thinking, "seriously?" when I first had it, but it was good.

That picture is MAGIC!!!!!!!

I love how they call the squares in the cereal "ninja nets" so it's relevant to the Turtles.

Also, I never saw those pies in any of the stores here in Canada but I thought they looked amazing when I saw the ads in EGM.

Just recently I youtube'd it and found an old commercial, I'm at work now and can't but they made it look so good.
