Honestly, it probably wasn't going to be very good in the first place.

TMNT deserves a full AAA (likely American) studio behind it.

I always thought Rocksteady would have been a good choice for TMNT but after seeing how Suicide Squad is shaping up I'm not so sure now.

I mean if they just did TMNT properly as SP with some light do-op Beat'm'up style it could have worked.

Or better yet, think Yakuza/Like a Dragon TMNT game with say Brooklyn and Queens in NYC as playable areas.

I never thought Rocksteady was a good fit for TMNT. The turtles need good interpersonal writing and vibrant characterisation. Rocksteady's never been good at that if the character wasn't named Joker or Harley Quinn.

I also don't think their combat design fits the turtles.
