TEKKEN 7 |OT| How I killed your mother

S4CPKeM.gif

EDIT: Damn it BHK3.

lmao that shit looks like a bad resume

"Made adjustments to things"
"Changed some things up"
"Went in and did things"

C'mon gimme a list of shit that is fixed yeesh.

But at least they responded and before EVO too. Hopefully shit is in line with the PC version, at least.

None of that looks like it did anything about the net code.

Anyway, I was trying Jin out all day today. I made it to green in Treasure Battle and called it a night. I feel ok with him but it really bothers me that I'll never be able to use him to his full potential. I simply can't do those electrics in the heat of battle. Sometimes I can't even do the regular version of the wave dash moves. I've just been doing stance stuff with him.

So PS4 Online is still trash? Not even a comment from Namco? What a worthless piece of shit this game is.. can't even sell it since I got it digital.

I really hope Bamco gets at least half the shit talk capcom got and still getting for how badly they handled PS4 version :(, yet seems everyone is giving them a free pass.

Is Jin difficult to master? I have been maining him since release and I feel like I hit a wall in progression. Been hovering in Green/ blue ranks forever.

I don't know what to do, I feel like everyone is stomping me now...Jin is just so predictable :/

Friend came over again last night. Brought his laptop so I could help him set up his game and controller (Getting a ps3 controller working on PC is still a pain in the ass)

We tested out an online match against each other. It is extremely cool to see the camera mirroring feature side by side! I like to think that team battle, survival mode, recorded replays, and tutorial mode were all sacrificed just for this cool feature lol

SCP DS3 is easy to setup. Not really difficult or time consuming.

Are there any other cahracters supposed to be added apart from the two from the season pass?

as much as i would love Kiryu to be added, would like some classic characters to come back like the changs and kunimitsu?

Nobody knows outside of Namco

Everyone in Tekken is hard to master. Jin has a very high skill ceiling because of his parry and optimal combos, but he's strong at any level of play, just an incredible all round solid character.

He has one of the most versatile movesets n the game, if you're getting blown up for being predictable, that's you the player being predictable.

I see what you mean, but I feel like Jin combos are difficult to execute, also their damage hover around high 40s to 50s. He has slow lows, he has a good mix up game. I know that Jin can be one scary character once played by a masterful player, but I feel like beginners maining him can be in a huge disadvantage compared to e.g Jose players with fast lows and easy to execute combos, Draganov with blazing fast sweep that leads to a launcher and easy combos with massive damage. Hell even Paul players with huge damage out of easy to use death fist or whatever its called ( fast with 60+ damage)

Any knews on whether that new patch at least fixed the connection has been lost, and general matchmaking issues? as that's SPECIFICALLY stated on the patchnotes.

His top combos are hard, which is why its nice he has lower damage options to get you by until you get there.

He has a plus on block mid launcher

He has a plus on hit counterhit launching low that isn't launch punishable. (and is far faster than Dragunovs sweep)

His hellsweep, while not the best, is an unseeable low launcher.

He has a plus on block, 14 frame high launcher

He has perhaps the best block punishment in the game.

He has a lot more beyond that.

None of those things are advanced tools. Jin teaches you to play honestly, and perhaps a little defensively, it's a common mistake among new players (and certainly I've done it), to overestimate how many of their problems in the game are their character.

This game is fantastic. I haven't experience anything worth complaining about since launch. What is your deal exactly?

No idea about how bad things actually are on consoles because I play on PC but from what I see here people are still having trouble playing online on PS4. Plus some people are prob still pissed about the low resolution on consoles.

Any specifics on the very cryptic "balance changes"? I see they fixed Elisa's infinite super, anything else confirmed?

I'm with you on Jin. He's good but his damage is kinda low. I feel like that's because I can't consistently do his electrics and because of that, I'll never use him at his full potential.

Anyone have any tips on EWGF besides do it really fast? It's hard enough doing in practice mode, but in an actual match it's almost impossible for me.

speed isnt the key accuracy of punch plus down forward is. You can do ewgf by do the motion fairly slowly but youve got to his down forward and punch almost simultaneously

Practice until you can get it 10/10 p1 and p2 sides in training mode.

Then practice in cpu modes until you can get it in actual matches.

It's not 100% necessary to know for him like it is Kazuya, and you'd be better off learning what you can punish and proper movement first imo. Theres a shitload of online Kazuyas stuck in green ranks because they have amazing EWGF and no other skill.

It's the same on console. I don't understand it. What's wrong with letting us have black? Now my lovely pure black customizations are a fugly grey.

ya what the hell. I think it was because of a certain dragunov custom that caused this change, but I dont know why they spread it to the entire cast instead of that specific item.

My Kazuya custom is ruined :(
