Really? Pretty much every guide/reference I've seen has Dragunov as an intermediate to advanced character.

Yeah he's fairly easy and straight forward. He has two advanced techniques both of which have decent substitutes so their importance isnt as significant as they once were
in ttt2/t6. if you didnt master his f3~f,df~N,u cancel AND picking up with iWS 4 off of CH WR2 then he wasn't being used to his full potential. now he has substitute combos that aren't half bad if you cant perform his advance stuff 100%

Because when you start out learning Tekken you're not going to instantly be worrying about the extreme intricacies of every character. You're going to be focusing on being able to move and punish properly which is an equal learning curve for every character. Once you get the hang of it you can start learning and adapting to Dragunov's instant while running specialties which isn't that easy but it shouldn't discourage people from beginning their journey of Tekken because of it either.
If Dragunov or any other character appeals to you go for it. It's significantly more about finding a character that you can connect with where you can see yourself putting in the time for.

Not sure what character i want to start playing as. I have huge nostalgia for the old roster from the ps1-ps2 era, so i might go with Jin or Law or something. I'm so sad they don't have Lei Wulong anymore, he was one of my most played characters as a kid. Miss u jackie chan<3

Yeah it was a tough choice for me. PC has awesome performance BUT I went with the physical copy on ps4 because of the portability and knowing the community will last a long time.

Yea it was laggy but it was the most fun I ever had in a Tekken match ever since I was against a player of equal skill And I came back from 0-2 TWICE!!!

It was once the Arcade characters were all announced that tons of people asked for characters, and of course, the first one back that was announce was yours truly.
Bryan's definitely an advanced character.
Anyone else having trouble changing their resolution on PC? It set mine to a weird number, and I can't seem to change it. It looks ok, but I'd rather play at native resolution.
That being said, the game is pretty fun. Played with a friend, and we were both pretty much mashing our way to some fun matches. I've always thought that 3D fighters are easier on mashers. Not sure if I'm right though.

Mh? Wasn't very hard here, more than the previous fights of course (where you win all at 1st try) but I did it at the 2nd try and I'm a shitty FG player. I play on normal though, didn't try on hard so it might be that.

I never had a main in Tekken, I just jumped around with every character.

Let's hope so. Her fighting style was unique from the rest of the cast, so was kinda sad she didn't make the cut.

Dragonov is not an easy beginning character IMHO.
Paul is good for beginners IMHO
And "Katrina Alves" was specifically designed for beginners, start there.

Scaling is crazy, so longer combos don't outdamage shorter ones. This means combos are easier to execute in general but lab rats might be disappointed that their crazy stuff is even less viable.
On the other hand, I tried like 5 different combos for Feng (off the same launcher) and they all did around the same amount of damage. This is cool for diversity and player expression. You won't be seeing everyone doing the exact same combo.

Yes. The game said up you can use up to 4 Xinput controllers and 8 Direct Input controllers.

Yeah, the sound design in this is badass.
Switch it to tournament mode which would unlock everything while in that mode... There's already a tournament mode setting...no pausing, some other stuff.

Man, turning post-processing all the way down works wonders for the overall visuals.
At any rate, it's nice to FINALLY be able to play this after seeing it in tournaments for several years now. Plays great and looks great. Really, really glad that Tekken is finally getting supported on PC officially.
