Cool, young Heihachi is in? Is there anywhere that I can see all of the customizations?

Do you still need an invite? Now Im locked out of Discord...I dont know whats going on. If you can wait a bit, I'll restart my PC and try and figure this out

To all the Americans out there. Amazon has $9 off Tekken 7 if you pre-order:

Thanks! None of our matches in group play will be streamed by the way. There will be one match at 18:00 (~4 hours 15 min from now), one at 19:15 and one at 20:30. At every time one 3v3 match will be streamed.Good luck!
Its gonna take me a while to get BDC and wave dashing down. Its already improved a lot over the past few days, so seeing the immediate progress is encouraging. Same with EWHF. I'll probably work on learning the wakeup game today.
One question I have towards game knowledge though. How do you guys figure out all the characters moves in the game and how to beat them? Doesnt Tekken have something like 100 moves for each character? It's not even like the character roster is small too, yet commentators seem to know the exact notation for every characters move...which just seems insane to me coming from SF where the moves and properties of each character is very limited in comparison.

The Death Stranding trailer had me thinking...
Was Dragunov modeled after Mads Mickelsen? Is it a Raven/Wesley Snipes type situation?

BDC,movement and wave dashing are the advanced stuff you keep on using and improving on all the time
I use Mokujin so i had to atleast know a bunch of stuff. The easiest way it worked for me is that i learned the mechanics of the game and all the basic stuff that could apply to everyone.
Once you learn that and how the game flows in general then it becomes easy to pick up the characters(minus the really advanced ones)
The limb per button system helps identifying stuff from just looking most of the time
You'd be surprised to see how much you can pick up and understand from videos and tournaments just having learned the basic stuff and flow
Tourney starting in 5 minutes. Since I won't be playing on stream I'll keep you updated
Two 70MB sized gifs, might wanna shrink these for the mobile users
What are the basic things that apply to everyone? From the ATP guide he only mentioned the universal run moves and throws.(Im not sure if the juggles he mentioned were specific to the character, or if most characters have the same move notation)

Numb probably means stuff tied to frame data, punishers, crush moves, pokes and frame advantage on block. Things tied to playstyle. In that sense it is universal because every character has that, but it doesn't mean you two characters should be played the same way.
Edit:
Ops, sorry Numb.
Ops, sorry Numb. I thought about something different.
Okay guys this tourney is a mess. NinthPixel has my deepest respect for managing to host an Onine tournament every week. This shit is unmanagable.
We lost our first 3v3 off-stream and were supposed to play against Tuobbos' team. He told me he dropped out and asked Fraeon to replace him. Fraeon is Offline right now...
I guess we won this match by default now? Oo

He always reminded me more of Marilyn Manson when I first saw his reveal in the DR trailer.
Good luck!
Hmm not sure. Dragunov came out a year before Mads Mickelsen got kind of popular. I dont think they look much a like either.
You dont need to worry about the 100 moves that each character has. A lot of them are not even viable for competitive play. Most players will be focusing on key moves/bnb's.
Also when I learn a new character I always limit myself first. I dont like to be overwhelmed. I learn like 10 moves max. I seriously just type in google: "top 10 moves jin ttt2". I focus on learning safe moves first. Their best 10 frame punisher, a launcher, a good low poke and mid poke etc. I learn combos last.
Dang @ the Yoshimitsu wizardry.
And have fun in the tournament today Sasuke!

It all comes with time. Also, it might seem like the commentators know exactly what every move is but the matches that are being displayed only exhibit the top 15-20 moves of each character. For all the other moves you come across there is a type of logic you can apply to all the moves 90% of the time to isolate what weakness is. I made a document briefly discussing this a couple years ago. Here's the link to the google doc which you can download here:

I wrote it in quite a hurry back then so if anything doesn't make sense feel free to ask.

Just don't be afraid to get bodied 1000 times, because it's the only true way to learn.
Everyone's a bitch at the start.
You don't go to this:

Didn't the hero/MC die in this fighting his enemy
Yes...the dreaded, but inevitable losing phase. I remember how much I hated it when I first started taking SF seriously. Constant 10+ losing streaks and a nice sub 20% win rate ;_;
Im actually surprised I didnt outright quit FG's with all the punishment and trolling I was taking. Guess I gotta refill my masochism gauge again.
Depending on the version you saw heheh. It was the time where HK movies had 2 endings.: Real one and Political Correct "Good guy always wins." version.
lol so there is a version where the main bad guy did't throw him off the building falling onto his pregnant girls' car

You won sitting in the lobby? Only Doomshine managed to do this.
Sweet, thanksSorry to hear your tournament experience wasn't as positive as you were hoping Sasuke. Hope the participation was still worth it!
