I'm not too worried. Tencent as a domestic game dev and Tencent as a international gaming company are basically two things.

The latter is simply investing and barely influence decisions of their investing companies.

For example they own 100% of Riot but Riot is still autonomous to operate and make decisions.

I can see Tencent buying out Ubisoft given the recent moves there.

NIKKE (which they already publish) is the main target for Tencent, not Stellar Blade.

Tencent have a lot of stakes in different ventures, especially in mobile space, they try to buy stake in practically any promising mobile startup - and ShiftUp is a mobile company first.

That was in December 2022, a month after NIKKE had already launched (which was already being funded by Tencent for a while, so the release date is not much of a relevant factor) and made over $100M in consumer spending.

Agreed. Note I 100% support diversity but bring back the T&A along with some testosterone.

Hopefully we get a Conan remake of the ps/360 title with extras.
