SPRING 2008 - Team [HLRY] vs Team [OBMA]!
*30 warriors have thus far committed themselves to the fight.
*Points are distributed via the standard end-of-map tally. If a map ends, and the score is Red 6, Blu 4, the red team gets 6 points and the blue team gets 4. Point totals carry throughout the season!
*Dates and times are tentative. Times are PDT. When times are more finalized, I will post some sort of official time link thingy.

A 3 round gauntlet (3 full map rounds) of Goldrush (It'll be out - this is GAF and I believe!).

The Prizes
After the Goldrush round, 4 honorable mention prizes of $25 (Amazon Gift Certificates) will be awarded.
Did someone get an amazing save? Was there someone who just sucked real hard, but was able to keep your team together via voice chat? Did you get your ass kicked so thoroughly by someone you want to show your respect?
Both teams will be able to vote for honorable mention, among anyone from both teams. You get 4 votes, and the 4 highest honorable mentions will each get $25. If there are ties for honorable mention runoff elections will be held to decide the winners. If you don't want the money, take it and buy a toy for Child's Play or something.
While I will be competing in the tournament, I will not be eligible for any of the prize money.
The Teams
People in bold need to send me their SteamID or Steam display name (I need both!). The Steam ID can be found by joining a server, hitting ~ to open the console (you may have to enable this in the advanced key config menu), and then typing status.
Teams may only differ by 1 player. Team members may cross over for balance.

CASH MONEY ROUND
Do you have gold fever? Do you want MY money? Come get it, bitches.
The team with the most points at the end of this round will be eligible to take home CASH MONEY. The team with the most points will vote for their team's MVP (1 vote).
The MVP of the winning team will receive $100. The runner up will receive $50. (Amazon gift certificates, US dollars).
Ties: If 2 or 3 people are tied for MVP, they will each receive 75 or 50 dollars, respectively. No runner up will be awarded. If 2 people are tied for runner up, they will each receive $25.
If there is a tie among teams(two, three, or four teams tied for first), all teams tied for first get the same $150 prize (and vote for MVP as above)!
If Team A only has 10 people, Team B can use 11. If Team A only has 6 people, Team B can use 7. It is to your advantage to schedule your time and organize with your team. You may substitute your other team members in the middle of a match for scheduling issues.
Teams are in charge of assigning who will play and who will be backups and who will swap out. If Team A has a bunch of no shows, Team B will have to pull people out and swap them in as the team sees fit.
After all, it is your team members who will be voting for MVP, should you be victorious.

Due to the low number of players, (only 2 teams now) and the general lack of interest in cash money prizes (mind = blown), I'll just be doing the honorable mention prizes. This will allow people to cross teams to fill spots, if necessary, and keep everything a bit more casual.
My goal is to see this thing through and, hopefully, organize a tournament every few months.
