Pathetic. The hosts both did a great job this year, and the awards seemed very thoughtful and well-deserved all around. Kind of surprised Fez won the Seumas McNally, only because of the controversy surrounding its eligibility, but it so deserved it. Can't wait until everyone gets to experience it in a few months.
No one gives a damn about the VGAs either. That was 67 pages of people actively hating the show to pass the time between trailers. No one watched for the awards and if this show promised game reveals I'm sure there would have been much more interest.
I'll agree that the GDC awards did well, but I wouldn't call the IGF awards thoughtful until they find a way to actually judge the volume of entrants the receive.
