Generally I agree with you, however I watched Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom the other day and he is AWFUL in that movie! Granted it wasn’t a really good movie anyways.
even daniel day-lewis can phone it in but he likes to keep his acting career extremely tightly knit

Well... I seem to recall that the gay/trans community was actually critical at the time of buffalo bill being a poor representation of them. There is even a line thrown into the film where Clarise says he "isn't a real homosexual" to try to avoid painting them all as crazy psychopaths.
