Anddddddd thats why the Reds suck a fuck.

Shit....why did he have to take Hudson out >_<

106 pitchs is nothing :P

God what a shitty pen :( Oh well the Cubs will win this one..LETS GO ROGER !!!

WTF! RBI Sac fly?! That is fundamental baseball played by Alou!

Ahh shit Ramirez grounds into another double play damn it.

*paints Reds logo over Astros logo on cap and flips it inside out...rally cap time!!!!*

This is going to be a huge win because Houston and San Fran will both lose tonight.

But we need like 6 more runs in the bottom of the 8th with Latoi coming out to close it in the 9th!!

What? You mean we'll be able to score runs?!

I think he's talking about giving up 5 runs in the 9th with their closer in the game.

ITS CASEY AND DUNN TIME!

Fucking lucky win by the Cubs...you should kiss Rusch's white fat ass.

:lol

:(

Hawkins is a piece of shit. It's comedy gold watching him come out to the mound and blow save after save. I think this is his 10th or 11th now! He is like 24/35 in save opportunities! :lol

If Valentine comes in, just so you'll know, he may walk every batter he faces. He is really wild but has great stuff. It normally takes him 30 pitches to get through an inning. I'd still take him over Graves though.

It's seriously amazing to me. No matter what deficit the opposing team needs to keep the game going, Hawkins goes out there and gives just the right pitches they need to get those runs. It's like a magic act. I expect a blown save when Hawkins goes out there. Im always thinking, 95% chance of a blown save right here

Weekend rotation set: Following the Astros' 2-1 win over the Cardinals on Tuesday, Garner announced two-thirds of his rotation for the final weekend series with the Rockies.

Right-hander Pete Munro will pitch Friday, followed by Roy Oswalt on Saturday. Sunday's starter is TBA and will be decided after Roger Clemens faces the Cardinals on Wednesday.

If the Rocket can keep his pitch count down and limit his innings, it's very likely he would go on Sunday, assuming the Astros will still be fighting for a Wild Card berth.

No hard feelings: Oswalt called Tony Womack following Monday's game, concerned with the condition of the Cardinals second baseman after he was hit by an Oswalt pitch in the seventh inning.

Oswalt was originally told that Womack's hand was broken, but the right-hander was relieved to find out the injury was just a bruise.

"The biggest thing that bothered me is I know they're going to the playoffs and I was hoping he wasn't going to miss anything in the playoffs," Oswalt said. "His team needs him over there, needs his speed over there. That's the thing that worried me after the game, that I might have put him out for the playoffs, and that wasn't my intention for sure."

Oswalt usually doesn't make it a practice to call opposing hitters, but he wanted Womack to know that the plunking was unintentional.

"He was a professional about it," Oswalt said. "He knew I wasn't trying to hit him. Why would I want to load the bases with Larry Walker coming up?

"He's been playing the game long enough. He knows I didn't do it on purpose. That's what I like about professionals on the other side. They take it as it is and don't make something out of it."

Said Womack: "I didn't expect [the phone call], and when I got it, it was appreciated. I told him, 'Don't lose any sleep over it. The X-rays came back negative.' He didn't do it on purpose and him calling me, that meant a lot to me."

Class.

Not really, Farnsworth at least has great stuff when he doesnt choke. He looked that inning as dominant as I've seen him since last year's postseason. If he keeps that up he'll be a very useful guy

BOO! Farns Ks Dunn to end the inning.

Corky, and Ne...WTF when did the cubs get Neifi?, and Michael "I ruined the Cubs wildcard chances" Barrett are up next

LET'S GO Riedling!!

Much respect for the Reds playing up to the Cubs standards...which isnt that good :D Even if they lose they're only going to make the Cubs worn out for tomorrows game.
