GO CUBS GOOOOOOOOOOO!

GO CUBS GOOOOOOOOOOO!

HEY CHICAGO WHATTYA SAY?

THE CUBS ARE GONNA WIN TODAY!

GO CUBS GOOOOOOOOO!

GO CUBS GOOOOOOO!

That's a theme song you hear on the radio before a cubs game. I have revised that song to this:

GO CUBS GOOOOOOOOO!

GO CUBS GOOOOOOOOO!

HEY CHICAGO WHATTYA SAY?

HAWKINS IS GONNA BLOW ANOTHER SAVE TODAY!

GO CUBS GOOOOOO!

GO CUBS GOOOOO!

come on, you think the Astros would do anything if they got in? Cubs need a damned closer and get Dusty to fucking give up on Hawkins the piece of shit. Every single time. Give him a 1 run and its close to guranteed blown. In fact, we're at the disadvantage going into to the 9th with a 1 run lead because Hawkins has a good chance of losing the lead together. He just kills are morale as a ball club trying to win a game in the end.

Oh, and Moises Alou, you suck! Constantly complaining. To announcers, umpires, etc. He used to be good in clutch situations but he's dropped way off this year. Bases loaded with him up used to be a gift. He hasn't made a clutch hit that wasnt a homerun in forever. He also pissed on his hands before. He's the kind of guy that makes this club unlikable. Him and Hawkins. FUCK YOU HAWKINS!

Latoi Gascan has blown 10 one run save opportunities. He has only saved 3 one run save opporunties. That is a pretty big disparity and the number one reason we won't make the playoffs if we don't get in.

How could Dusty keep putting him out there?? Just putting him out there is like playing russian roullette with 6 bullets. But Dusty loves to play.. And somehow I can't not watch. your blowing are fucking head off dusty!

Look at it this way, 30 years from now, you can be on one of those specials on ESPN Classic that marks the beginning of the Astros dynasty as "Disgruntled Fan #4" who makes comments like "I swear they were down and out", or "we just didn't see it coming, they completly blindsided us in the standings", and "who knew that it would mark the first of 10 years of MLB domination"

lol.

And Santana was in line for #21 if his bully didn't blow it, hope that doesn't hurt his CY chances [it shouldn't but some people are idiots]

Latoi "YOU CAN'T DO MY JOB" Hawkins earlier this year:

http://www.nwherald.com/SportsSection/nickp/293997865591771.php

Why do I bring this up? Well going 24/35 in save situations and blowing the second game in a week it is pile on time! FU Hawkins!

"I can do what you guys do," Hawkins said Monday afternoon in a press conference he called. "You guys can't do what I do."

"I don't care who's sitting on the edge of their seat. I'm not going to apologize for putting you on the edge of your seat like [White Sox closer Billy] Koch did. I'm not going to apologize for that.

"I don't have to apologize to anyone. It's just me. I don't care if you guys bite your fingernails or are biting hands and knuckles until they bleed. That's not my problem. That's you. As long as I get the job done, and Koch was getting the job done. I didn't think he had a reason to be apologizing.

"You have to realize it doesn't make a difference what happens as long as you don't give up that lead and you get the save.

Roofles.

I skipped class today to watch the Cub game, and it was definitely worth it. Is there anything better than meaningful late season afternoon games at Wrigley where the Cubs lose in extra innings? I can't think of anything. Just first-class entertainment.

A meaningful 7th game of the NLCS or world series that the Cubs lose in extra innings?

I heard on SportCenter last night that the Braves are goign to play their big boys against hte Scrubs because they would wrather have another team in the playoffs. They didn't take too kindly to losing to the scrubs last year in the playoffs.

WOO! :lol

Translation: We want to play the Astros in the first round because we've always beat them.

I think we could take them this year though, they aren't nearly as good a team as they have been the last few times we've faced them.

Hey Houston people...

who are the guys on sports radio 610 that are on...lesse at 7:00? They were just asked to rank current Astros and their likeliness to get into the HOF...they said:

1. Clemens [obviously]

2. Bagwell [hmm...]
3. Kent [EH??]
4. Biggio

come on that's lame. Biggio has a better chance than Kent BY A FUCKIN MILE...and besides that, he's twice the player Kent is...I think he has a better chance than Baggy too. It was Kevin Bass and some other guys talking. They mentioned Kent's RBI total...[besides the fact that RBI is a bogus stat] he has 1202 RBI as of tonight, Biggio has 991, just 211 less, and he's been a leadoff man his entire career [except for batting 2nd a couple of years.] They also mentioned his HR total... 299 homers...just 67 more than Biggio, though Kent is a "slugger"...

And if we want to talk seasons..how bout Craig's 1998 campaign...

1998 Houston Astros 160 646 123 210 51 2 20 88 325 64 113 50 8 .403 .503 .325
