Christ on a bike Sony pictures is a mess. His frozen head? Why not just, you know, not kill him off-screen in ASM2?
We could have gotten SM4 and SM5 instead of the crappy ASM movies, a missed opportunity to say the least.
Webb's been good for nothing since 500 Days of Summer. made two awful spiderman movies then some mediocre genius kid movie with Chris Evans, and now apparently his new movie is spme wack take on The Graduate.
Have you ever read a comic book? That's all they do.
What is it with movie franchises these days about not giving a fuck about bringing back dead characters.
But I wanted...Chris Cooper was going to come back and play the Goblin. We were going to freeze his head, and then he was going to be brought back to life. And then there was that character called The Gentleman.
Yeah I wasn't feeling the Sony pictures hate but they hire completely incompetent people damn.
No wonder they just agreed to let Marvel write it.
Then again, those Marvel writers created a massive plot hole with their "8 years later" and then "Eight years, not a word from the feds..." that Sony is aware of but would be too costly to fix.
My gosh this is awful. But not surprising from the studio that cancelled a wonderfully animated movie about a spinach eating sailor and replaced it with a pile of petrified ass peelings that was labelled:

Lets be honest, their Popeye would have sucked shit, it's probably for the best.

How is Sony Pictures surviving
The GentlemanSooo, who was the Gentleman supposed to be?
Sooo, who was the Gentleman supposed to be?
They're reacting like that because it hasn't happened yet in MCU. But when Cap is revived in Avengers 6 or whatever, they'll revere it as groundbreaking and brave. That's a standard comic book plot point. I don't think the "omg so hilariously bad, lol sony" reactions itt are justified.

Just because some fans have convinced themself heroes will die in one movie and be ressurected in another or that Cap's arc will revolve around him picking up the main weapon of another hero doesn't mean that's what's going to happen. They're reacting like that because it hasn't happened yet in MCU. A 1970 toku fans dreamZordon was going to be in the Spiderman CU? Spiderman vs Power Rangers!
It would've been fantastic with Tartakovsky handling it.Lets be honest, their Popeye would have sucked shit, it's probably for the best.
*Edit: Just looked it up (didn't even know it ever existed) and I see that Genndy Tartakovsky was attached to direct...shiiiit nevermind, that could have been great.
What the FUCK....is tha-wait nevermind. I remember now...that hazardous spiderman play where everyone got hurt.

Coming back from death, sure. Coming back from a frozen head?! That'd be a first in one of these movies.
It's not. Did you miss the Kevin Feige "sad Affleck" moment and that Amy Pascal changed her statement to that it is its own thing?
