The Amazing Spider-Man - Final Trailer

I love how the web moves organically. In free fall, it bends in the wind, but give it tension, then it tightens up.

Also, not a lot of quotable lines from this besides the whole knife weakness line. hmm.

Spidey Swing

Spidey doesn't mesh with the background at all. Really poor compositing.

Some of the CG just didn't look right. When we see on the big screen, it may not be as noticeable. It's better than the Raimi spideys

I like the web sounds/how they look. Moves better than I remember from the original movies.

Thank god he at least has some banter with the car thief.

swinging looks really nice and the car thief scene was amusing. Hype!

for some reason this makes me want the spidey game, did anyone else hear the impressions for the behind close doors demo they showed the press at GDC, sounds really good.

I loved this ACTUAL wall crawling snippet, something we've never really gotten from the Raimi SM;

what do you mean? im pretty sure there was web climbing in the original trilogy.

Parts of this are still so unappealing. Other parts looks fantastic. I'm hoping the marketing is selecting the least interesting parts (to me) to highlight.

What looks great is the general spider-man'ing. And Garfield and the cast is great.

And there's a cheapness to how it looks. I don't know if it looks like that to suit the 3D or what, but some parts look off.

Man, Lizard got fucked up by the cops in that one scene where he's lying on the ground in his lab coat. There's bullet holes all over him. Must have that regeneration power to withstand that.

This trailer is weird because it's really just focusing on all the action, while the 1st one was more story driven, maybe that's why everyone is saying they're not that impressed? I would've liked to see a mix of the 1st and 2nd trailers.

I have to say though, the Spidey swinging and animation is sooooooo much better than the Raimi movies. He hits so many iconic poses in this thing and looks like an actual human doing these things, not a weightless CG puppet (yes, I'm aware a lot of it was practical, that's what I meant).

When he first got his powers and wasn't in his spidey suit he of course web crawled in the first movie.

I honestly can't recall any shots like that of Spidey web crawling throughout the whole Raimi trilogy or they just didn't stick out like that shot.

I was going to say the same thing. I have a feeling that's at the end of the movie. Looks like Connors is in a jail cell and Norman is coming to talk to him about what he did.

You are probably right there.

And yeah, sure it was Osbourne. Is Harry in this, though? Never heard anything about him being cast.

I don't think they would reveal Norman Osbourne like that given that they haven't announced his casting.

Oh, I thought they had. He's gotta be in there at least for a cameo if they're going to be at Oscorp.

I'd have Michael Cera as Peter before Andrew Garfield. And the Vulture before this crappy Lizard.

Michael Cera would make for a good Vulture.

If they want to be more "accurate" he'll pop up in the college years.
But then here's Gwen in high school.

It is a really curious scene though and adds a bit more intrigue behind the whole Parker parent plot.
You make a valid point. They haven't announced anyone to be playing Norman, and to reveal such a pivotal character in a trailer like that, would be very weird.

Well, they might not ever even show his face, but we know he exists. I'm betting on a cliffhanger involving him, for sure.

The scene just seems strange, i'm willing to bet it's a higher-up at Oscorp talking to Connors, and I wouldn't be surprised if that's revealed to be Osborn.
