The average millennial gained 40 lbs so far during the pandemic.

I’m about the same. I lost weight during the 10 weeks I got paid not to work last year. But then I put the weight right back on went to I went back. I needs my caffeine and my snacks when I’m working.

I feel it.
I'm glad it's finally getting warm again so I can resume my daily walks. Winter seems to hit me the hardest. I don't like the cold.

I bought a set of dumbbells and a bench when it got too cold to walk. Best idea ever. I’ve gained a little muscle, dropped some fat, and now I want to keep it going.
Man... I wish I had done that this winter.

*looks down at gut*

I love going for walks in the park or in the woods though... there's nothing like it.
Gonna get a bench. Why wait?

This sounds unbelievable to me. Throughout the pandemic I've been running and working out daily as I have no commute and so more free time, yet still working from home full time. Gaining 40lbs sounds like an impossible challenge without some serious effort tbh. Just eating constantly? Why?!

I lost weight because I was doing keto for like the last 4 to 5 months

but, I ate a shit load of bagel bites (lol, stress eating I guess) over the last two weeks and feel like a fat ass again. `

Look at something else than jogging, your joint will thank you in 20 years.
I would but it’s literally the only exercise I like and stick with. Maybe I’ll get a bike when I hit 50. I fucking hate the gym but just me and the road and fresh air is my daily moment of zen.

Yeah, bike is good idea. Tried jumping rope?
No I need scenery or I won’t do it just staring at the wall like a zombie or a screen on an elliptical or indoor bike is not my cup of tea. I’d sooner walk outdoors and double the miles than quit jogging. I do mix it up and walk one day and jog the next sometimes if I’m feeling fatigued.

I went from 168 to 140 and then now maybe 150.

Wife gets upset if I don't eat dinner so its impossible to go below 140 even if I keep up with work out everyday.

IME really diet can lose your weight, workout only make you feel better, doesn't lose weight.

Diet really is like 90% of it, at least in the beginning. That's what i always tell people who want to lose weight but have never gone to the gym or just aren't the active type.

Building muscle will help you keep that weight off though. Then you can really eat again without much worry.
