Been stressed the past month over money issues, 'cause my student loan wasn't giving me anything and I'd still owe $1264.xx after all the payments.
Went to the financial centre today, found out these idjits didn't claim the right tuition amount for my program ($9619.20), and instead did the cost for majors with the regular, default cost. Now my tuition is paid and my loan owes me some cash.

Fixed my mothers tax stuff, too, by transferring my tuition credits to her. I swear people who deal with your money just love to mess your stuff up. Taxes. Tuition. Loans. No one cares.

Or they assume you wont be smart enough to catch it. Be surprised how many people do sketchy things like that on purpose, especially when it comes to college tuition/loans. I had the same thing happen my first semester when I was in college, they individually charged me and my roommate single housing rates which was a ton more expensive than double housing.
Get everything they owe you for sure. Good that you got your ma's tax issue solved in time.
