I went to get an emissions test today and I guess the guy that works there noticed my Obama bumper sticker cause in the middle of the test he tells me that I’m lucky I came today because all the prices were going up tomorrow because “Obama got elected and all the taxes are gonna go up.” Some dude on the street also gave me the finger…

Today was "be ignorant as fuck in retaliation" day out here. Dudes were taking parking spaces from commanders and yelling "2 TERMZ" "U MAD?" loud as fuck in formations randomly just to see who exactly would scrunch up their face.

It was pretty funny though. Typically there isn't much outwards or even subtle racism between guys in the military, but it was definitely showing today. I think everyone will be alright after all the salt leaves their systems.

Since my thread is looking pretty D.O.A, I'll ask here

I'm working with a student group on a big charity event. We're basically turning a huge area of our campus student center into an "arcade" (setting up game systems on TV's) for a week and selling different items like t-shirts to raise money for Child's Play. Last year was our first time doing the event, and we decided to improve on it by adding a dance party event on Friday. I've been tasked with creating a setlist for the DJ.

Problem is, I'm pretty damn disconnected from modern mainstream music. Nothing against it: I think a lot of it is quite enjoyable, and I'll dance to it when I go out with friends. But I never bother to remember any of the songs or anything. Just not a habit of mine.

So I'm just asking what do y'all normally listen to during a night out. Or maybe what are some good party songs.

Also, lmaooooooo @ "I'm not a real nigga."

On repeat, never have I ever seen people get less pumped or remain neutral to a party when it comes on. It's like getting an invincibility star in Mario but for an entire party.

Dance/hip hop crowd is about right. It needs to be enough for 3 hours worth of music. So we're assuming around 55 (if each song is 3 minutes or so in length) Probably less, since I want to give the DJ room to actually DJ.

Also needs to be relatively clean. Cause our school is really uptight.
