Hey I've been telling yall Sweden aint shit. Yes a lot of good happens but people just don't get it and refuse to get it and our government have done a great fucking job of covering up years of bs.
It was like people forgot about Bo G. Erikson. Old man had this science program where he had to remind people again and again that no "black people don't smell bad or rape everything, no they don't sit on a fucking porch eating watermelon all day. Romani don't smell bad, steal everything or rape everything." over and over.
That Astrid Lindgren herself hated nationalism, that she hated the discrimination she saw between races, gender and made up national boarders(this was in 57). She also commented on how, after(hey the lady started traveling) visiting the states and seeing how black people where treated there she hated to see how her illustrators had drawn black and asian people in her book and she wanted to remove the word "negerkung"(nigger king) from her books because yeah that wasn't a good word. How she dissed colonialism by having her own main character drop down to her knees unknowing as to why the other black children did and when she found out(the character that is) why the black natives did Pippi told them nope. They are the same and worth the same.
And people still stan for it not being removed to this day and lift her up as some national symbol. Which, again, she hated.
Fuck I really have my hang ups with this country and it'll get worse as our "we're-not-nazis" party is gaining more and more power. Think that's why I get so pissed when people go "I can't believe we got such a party in government"....Seriously? You can't see it? You must have your head stuck up your own ass your whole life.

Used to be on treadmill watching old ass cartoons and discovery channel but now the only channels left are SVT, tlc and TV6
