Testdrove a CX5 and CHR recently but they all let me down. Too firm, too noisy, missing features... I want something a little bit more comfy and higher up. Infiniti Q30 seems nice but they are rare in my country. Looking at a Alfa Stelvio too but they are a bit pricey still.

I test drove chr too. the honda i-mmd engine is a marvel but I don't understand why they add the engine noise and fake gears. And it's not an option.
In civic, which is a bit sporty, it makes some sense but chr not so much.

As for me, I just put my deposit down. 40%, then rest on few years plan but it's elastic so I can pay up when I want.
That's for Kia Niro II hev. My firs brand new car... I don't even know how to feel haha. I kinda wanted a new car be free of the old 16years + junker finally... and the niro is full of tech (top trim).
One more week. It was a hard choice between it and new civic but Niro offers more comforts and softer ride for a big guy like me... and the tech is cool.

I'm in a Benz GLE AMG and really am tired of it. Looking at an LX 570 with low miles used or a new 2024 QX80. I like both. Tough choice.

Traded in my civic type r for a BMW M2 last week. I wanted just one romp with a high powered manual before they go bye bye. So far, still learning how to shift smoothly from 1 to 2 consistently, was definitely easier in the Honda. Starting to get a bit frustrating actually. And I do miss the improved steering feel of the R. But it’s so easy to go very fast in the M2

Got caught up in a 4 car wreck yesterday with my newly acquired bone stock, clean title Civic Si FA5. Devastated. I'm sure it'll be totalled given it's such an old car at this point. Means I get to daily my 5.0 again and get kicked in the nuts with spending on fuel.

I'm only on my second car. My first was a fiat 500, 4 years ago. I loved it. Never fucked up and great fun to drive. Upgraded to my current. An Sri astra, 1.4 Turbo, 2019. Really like it but she drinks fuel like Pam Anderson drank spunk. Gonna have to get rid as soon as my PCP contract allows. Sadly.

Currently have a 2014 Dodge Viper, 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 2019 Honda Pilot.

Going to get rid of the Grand Cherokee this year and get a Toyota Sequoia. When I went to buy a Sequoia they were 12 months plus on back order and I needed a bigger SUV than I had at the time which was a 2019 Cherokee. The GC is hot garbage when it comes to riding comfort even compared to the Cherokee. Can’t wait to unload it.

I’ve had the Viper since 2017. It was my dream car and the only American “sports” car I ever liked. Debated numerous times on selling it and getting a GTR but prices of Vipers are rising since they’re discontinued and I still like taking it out on the weekends for a quick rip. Don’t drive it nearly as much since having kids.

Why the change?
Good question, I have wanted an S3 for so long, but life just kept beating me down enough that it wasn’t a possibility. Then recently, I found a dealership that was willing to let the car go at a price point that was affordable to me. Also there were some things about the BRZ that really bothered me.

Traded my beloved BRZ

for a semi dream car of mine although it’s missing the R in front of the S, but maybe next time. It’s a goal.

Congrats on the S3! What color is the interior?

My fiancé has a B9 A4, I didn't much like Audis until we got it. I love the interior, it's so modern and fresh. The car is a mega road trip machine too.

I got the black interior with red stitching. The Speck was almost perfect for me.
Black optics, black emblems, black exhaust tips
Fine Nappa Leather with red stitching
Exhaust resonator delete
Red brake calipers
All I was missing was the B&O sound system, but close enough.

Moves from my Opel Astra station wagon to a Fiat Freemont (or Dodge Journey for you burger eaters).
I really loved the Opel, had a big sun roof and the diesel engine was both snappy and economic (around 1.5 galon per 60 miles highway or 2 in the city) but it was getting to 250k miles (390km) and it started getting costly in maintenance.
Holy shot what an upgrade. AWD, automatic transmission and the V6. I've driven a petrol 4 banger, turbo diesel and with the current engine i am now member of the There's No Replacement For Displacement cult. Fuck it, i'm slowly saving up to import a Durango with either the 5.7 Hemi or the 6.4 SRT model.

And the TV for the kids when going on long trips is also a nice bonus. Kids these days have it great compared to what i had 30 years ago.

Nah, 30+ years ago us kids got to stretch out in the back of a station wagon, nestled in or on all the luggage. No seat belts, no A/c, no airbags, no electronics, and only bad puzzle books and mad libs to keep us entertained for 12 hours.

It was the life, I tells yah :p

I went through the same. But i was sitting in the back of a Fiat 126p and was scared for my life whenevern dad tried to overtake anything 😂
We don't play cartoons for the whole way, all stupid road games are being used, but i'd lie if i said i don't want some silence for at least an hour when underway. Kids are crazy about the movie Cars and i could recite it from memory right now.

Bought Honda Civic 2024 touring recently. Everything is good except for some f**king reason Honda decided to not give any control over car via mobile, those features are only available for CRV.

Been a car lover my whole life. Very partial to the American V8 cars. Owned quite a few over the years. This is my current Sunday car, a 08 Mustang Bullitt.

That's a beautiful Bullitt! I have a Ruby Red 5.0 GT myself. 2018, facelift S550.

I recently bought a Focus ST3 in the brilliantly named Tangerine Scream

Honestly the colour was half the reason, it looks fantastic in the sunlight and really stands out. I've had 40 or so cars but never a hot Ford hatch, so thought the time was right, especially as they've now given up making them. I would have liked the estate but they're very rare, especially as the ST3 spec was the only one that comes with heated seats, one of the best options ever invented.

Its one of the nicest looking in its class. Ive driven a 2018 model I think but wasnt a fan. We dont get the turbo version here so you really have to push it. Didnt like the seats and the car is quite noisy.
