Funny thing, that.
Today I was going to post a thread about my day at work. Some game company came by to show us the Playboy video game. In other news, another company sent the PC guys authentic superhero capes to promote City of of Heroes.
So. The IT guy at Ziff sees me wearing this cool superhero cape and I tell him that despite the cape being someone else's, I am going to wear the thing forever -- including to my upcoming meeting with the aforementioned game company.
Him: No way.
Me: Way.
Him: Five bucks.
Me: What?
Him: Five bucks says you won't.
One pinky swear later, I'm off to attend this meeting wearing my superhero cape. To prove that I actually wore the cape, I had my comrade at Xbox Nation take pictures of me with the Playboy model (Stacy Fusion?) they brought along.
Long story longer -- the IT guy still hasn't paid up.
And no, there will be no sharing of the picture, as its sole purpose is to provide proof to the IT guy. Plus, I look hideous. She's smiling, I look like someone ran me through the blender.
So that would have been the worst thread ever. By me. Or anyone else.
