Joining in on these threads just reminds me of the 2008 GAF crew. Was a fun year for me.

Living in NY.
Scaring people about terrorist attacks.
Ordering Batman Dominos Pizzas.

Good times.

that gun looks insane

wonder what it do

Wonder if it's a general technology that fits with the "plane"

Who's to say the plane isn't levitated by some sort of sonic wave tech, and the gun is the same tech, like the repulser gun from minority report

Bane is going to be so badass

Edit:Damn shall I get rid of the gifs?

I personally don't know anything about Bane. Is he supposed to come from high society or something? He sounds the farthest thing from a regular folk.

From what I remember, he was born in a Prison that doesn't exist in a place that probably doesn't exist either, and he grew up there. He was very smart, read a lot of books, trained his body to perfection, and got in some violent fights. He first goes to Gotham with the intent to destroy the Batman. He uses Batman's past enemies to break him down psychologically, and when actually gets to Batman, he outmatches him completely.

I think the character has all the ingredients to be violent, sound smart, and just generally be a badass.

He's supposed to be this dude who is not only super smart, but took it upon himself to get super educated and shit. So basically he's Bruce Wayne without the wealth, but with all the resourcefulness, and he happens to look like some random dumb thug off the streets.

Comic Book Bane was from a Latin Island Country, normally a small man, who lived his entire life in prison (carrying out his Father's prison term, in his place after the Father's death, I believe), and eventually experimented on (with a drug called Venom) that when used, is more or less a super steroid.

Somewhere in all this, he's supposed to be pretty smart, and decides to hunt down Batman and take command over Gotham.

Something like that.

I want the soundtrack out now plz

From the montage

If the well those men are repelling down really is the Wayne Manor well, I really hope we get a sequence like the plane hijacking, but going after Bruce in his own home. These guys make Stryker's men during the X2 mansion invasion look like rookies.

The League of Shadows is pissed off, and back with Revengeance!

That shit is gonna be intense. The one thing that got me during the montage was the group of Bane's men shooting in the streets.

Man, I was at the Fort Worth showing. Bane was incredible, and I'm already starting to feel Hathaway just from those two shots of her at the end (especially the second).

EDIT: But yeah, Bane is still really hard to understand. They played the reel twice for us, and I understood maybe 20-30% of his lines the first time, and 60-80% the second. The voice is wonderful, but needs some work if people want to know what's going on.

What? The only death I heard of was someone having a heart attack after filming a scene? Fucking two people died making this movie?

It was natural death though. Original report was that he died while the scene was filming, but newer report showed that he died naturally after that scene was shot.

Sources say the unidentified male extra died from a heart attack during rehearsals. He’d wandered off during a break, and was discovered unconscious nearby.

“He was taken immediately to the hospital,” said a source. “It was during a period when the film was shooting a huge sequence with several hundred extras in the Wall Street area. But the male extra had been rehearsing in another location away from the set. While on a break, he’d walked away and died of natural causes.”

This makes me rethink the teaser bit, where 1 guy is handclimbing out of the same hole those men are repelling down. Before, I thought that was Bane (still might be) but Now I wonder if Bruce is broken "down in the batcave" and then "buried alive" there by Bane. The only way out is to climb up the well.

Probably not what'll happen, but I'd think it would be a cool hero moment.

Exactly what I thought too

That can be right. Batman is gonna get fucked up this movie

This goes back to my post earlier.

The shot of Bane dropping the broken Bat mask is him dropping it in/near running water like the shot from the teaser where Batman is tired and soaking wet as Bane advances. Looks like that's when he gets fucked up.

I'm a bit confused, isn't this a spoiler thread? Why are we using spoiler tags and removing .gifs? Its a spoiler thread.

It's just a nice precaution for those that accidentally enter here or if there is a massive spoiler that is yet not shown to public, especially when there is no mention of "SPOILERS" in thread title and it says Riddler for some fucked up reason.

Thread title needs updating, I think.
