One of the people Dent killed was Catwoman's sister/relative?
Nobody knows for sure but it's in reference to Dent.
1. Wuertz (the guy in the bar)
2. Maroni
3. Maroni's driver
4. Maroni's thug (Dent grabs him almost off-screen before getting in the car.)
5. ?? (Some people say the cop Joker kills in Dent's hospital room)
I've read that Nolan said in an interview it would be addressed, but I don't really see how.
Thankfully 98% of this has been proven to be false already.
Whoa, really? I never noticed that.
The title of this thread reminds me...who were the 5 people that Joker killed that were referenced in the line of dialogue "5 dead, 2 of them cops".
I remember trying to count and the numbers didn't add up.

Didn't notice it myself until somebody else pointed it out. Watch the first couple seconds of this scene on the far left: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gp-yeuRDbsM&feature=related
"You are as precious to me as your movva and fotha. I swore ta dem dat I would protect you, and I haven't."
I had to re-listen to that sentence a couple times to get what Alfred was saying. Was he talking with his mouth full of marbles?

I meant Dent, sorry about that.
That thug grabbing off-screen thing is epic, though. Definitely never saw that!

Doesn't make sense that the guys so quiet though.
I'd assumed he'd knocked him out. Although yeah, it's kinda weird that the thug makes no sound when grabbed. Did Dent use chloroform on him?
Yeah, that always felt a bit too on the nose for me, so I'm glad that the Nixon stuff didn't pan out.
Still, I wonder what's going to separate him from Gordon and Blake. We're going to be following three cops, so there's got to be a reason for it.

I guess the only reason it's a rumor is because Ledger and Jiggles look like brothers basically?Joker even have a son in the comics?
JGL's father who's also a cop, maybe?
Because it was poorly shot.

Foley probably takes over when Gordon's in the hospital.
No, it was well-shot. That was totally the point, to not see it coming.
There's a lot of questionable edits and staging in Nolan's films, but that wasn't one of them.
I always wondered how Dent got into that car without no one noticing. Thanks for pointing this out.Didn't notice it myself until somebody else pointed it out. Watch the first couple seconds of this scene on the far left: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gp-yeuRDbsM&feature=related
It is questionable. It would be well shot if the audience were better able to see it clearly and the bad guys werent. Right now most people just assume Dent was waiting in the car.

If Nolan's intent was for it to only be noticed months later by rabid fanboys who scour every frame, then it was well shot. If his intent was to make it clear that Dent took out a man, it was poorly shot.

I'm curious. How many people noticed that on their second or third viewing. The scene plays out as if the audience is suppose to be surprised along with Maroni. It's obviously meant to have Dent's attack noticed later if you didn't see on a first viewing. Come on Solo,

And yet people see the movie 10 times and never pick up on it.
So it's not "obviously" meant to be anything.
Vital narrative information now hidden in easter eggs!
Vital would mean that Nolan wanted the audience to know Dent was already in the car before Maroni got in...yet, still cut it as if it's suppose to shock them?
Is that what you think he wanted?
