Toy Story 3 is king shit of fuck mountain, real g's know this.
Ultimatum was like a shitty remake of Supremacy.
Was I the only one who liked 4 more than 3 for Lethal Weapon?
1 > 2 > 4 > 3
The toys breaking out of the daycare center is more inventive and fun than their counterparts in 1 and 2, so no.Agreed. Spiritual sequels don't count.
And gimme a break, GAF. Toy Story 3 wasn't nearly as good as TS1&2. It's like the only thing people remember is the ending.

And personal opinions are kind of pointless in this discussion, TS3 is more critically revered than the first two and probably the same among the public (this also goes for Ultimatum and Return of the King).
Indiana Jones III was great. Fuck yall. So was RoTJ, just not as good as empire, but still good.

Didn't Heath Ledger's death do that? I mean, I suppose you could say that's a kind of a curse, but that would probably be in poor taste.
You're not reading the rules. Indy 3 WAS great. But Temple was shit compared to Raiders so the franchise doesn't count.
ë°ì°¬ì± Vengeance trilogy. I think most of gaf loves 2/3You find me a great third film in a franchise (not filmed back to back) where the first two films were GREAT and then the third one lived up to them.

I loved ToD.
Return of the King was filmed back to back with the others. Stop breaking the rules.
You're all just trying to deny the existence of the third movie curse. I know Nolan is aware of it. It's what initially stayed his hand. Gotta find dat interview.

You said no spiritual sequels and no filming back to back. Raiders was the best, but ToD was not bad, and Crusaders was a great film. This does not break any rules. If these are your new stipulations, than The Dark Knight trilogy is automatically disqualified since many think BB is better than TDK. So it doesnt matter what people think about TDKR.

This is what I said:
Temple was not great. Certainly not following Raiders.
That's the spirit.I-is being a king shit of fuck mountain a good thing? If so... I think I agree?
I also love Temple. Who's opinion do we believe!?!?

Ocean's Thirteen bitches.
That series isn't even the discussion. It didn't even get a second good movie, let alone a third.
You're right about it not being on the same level as 1. It's better.
2 = or > 3 > 1

Now name me franchises that managed to recover from a terrible sequel and manage to put out a decent third one.
Batman forever was a great third movie.
Is any of us old enough to get Sinatra references?I think Oceans 13 is a lot of fun. Give it a go.
Ok it obviously wasn't up to that certain level Batman and Returns achieved but none the less...it's fun.
Is it even the same series? New batman, new director, fucking robin..
Evil Dead trilogy. Army of Darkness was the best. This also plays by the rules with Evil Dead 2 being second best.
Though it was different in tone and style, it was still set after Batman Returns. There was a plan to bring back Jack Nicholson as the Joker (as a fear gas hallucination) for the next movie after Batman & Robin.
Chris O' Donnell is a great Robin. Just he didn't do much in Forever besides get caught.
I often wonder if it's in the same continuity with the first two movies.
Batman's attitude changed drastically, so did his car and methods of fighting crime (he didn't really kill people).
But there's vague references to the other two movies.
