Yeah...I may have jumped the gun here, maybe it is not the real deal. :P

edit: yeah it's a bullshit score, it mixes the begins soundtrack with the official TDK release. Disregard please. :P
 
Looking at this Two-face pictures kind of reconfirmed to me, while the effects were certainly well done, asthetically I thought it was over the top, almost cartoonish. The scene he shares with the Joker in the hospital makes a pretty jarring comparison.

I wonder if Nolan looked into burn victims before doing these effects. He said he wanted to make it look worse actually, so I dunno.

Chris Nolan has said it was done over the top on purpose, less than that and it would've been too realistic and grotesque to look at. This is a summer blockbuster that must appeal to all ages in the end, you know. :P

LOL yea by soon I meant that I thought it was pretty early January, I didn't think nominations were made in December. It prob wouldn't be for the best if they didn't at least finish the year out before nominations were made :lol

So I'm guessing this blu-live thing works by popping the disc into a computer connected online, right? So theoretically I could buy the movie at midnight and pop it in immediately to be registered, right?
 
If anyone is interested, NCSX is taking orders for the Dark Knight Blu-Ray. They're beginning shipping TOMORROW. It's a bit expensive. They're charging $39, but you get it almost a month early.

If anyone hasn't heard of them, they're very reliable, so you don't need to worry about that.
 
Just saw the movie for the first time. I was pretty sure I was going to hate it like I did Batman Begins. Even had some snarky comments in mind already and was prepared to face the GAF wrath.


It fucking blew me away. Wow, just wow.

You'll still feel our wrath. Batman Begins was amazing, and a good argument can be made that it's better than TDK.

I've just received the shipping confirmation from DVDPacific! :D
