Maybe you should just let her watch it, and if she doesn't like it she doesn't like it.

Second time I went to see it I took a chick, and she said it was the most boring movie she's seen in ages and said Hulk was better. People are retarded
I assume you stopped talking to the girl.

So after watching it 4 times in the cinema I'm gonna try to watch this with my mom tonight, but she isn't really big on shooting & action movies... I just know she's gonna think this is a cool movie though, because it's more than shooting & action..

Any good arguments? Or just keep her in the dark? :P

I was in almost the same situation, and I just said that it transcends the stereotypes of the "action" genre. You will be fine. Just take her and let her enjoy it. :D

Lee's Hulk?

No, the new one; I haven't seen it although I heard it's meh. She was texting on her phone throughout the entire movie which kinda annoyed me since she asked me to take her in the first place, and had complained that I didn't invite her to see it the first time I went. Needless to say I'm not wasting money on her again

I almost don't want a third Nolan Batman movie because TDK sets up the Batman series so fucking well. Batman Begins and TDK together make the perfect Batman origin story. I'd like it if others took over the reins now and several years down the line, after we've seen plenty of Batman stories, Nolan can pick it up again and make two films that cover the death of Batman and cap off the series.

Also, I'd love to see Nolan make a hard sci-fi film. James Cameron and Ridley Scott are doing it, Nolan needs to get on the bandwagon.

Fixed.

Although, I wouldn't say hard sci-fi.

Well they both took a long break. They're now both working on new sci-fi films. David Fincher might be as well, we need a few more good directors to jump on the wave so we can have another sci-fi revolution like we did in the late 70's.

I'm assuming you ditched her.

If not, you're a terrible person.

Gotta love people who don't understand the first rule of making sure whether or not a film isn't boring:

Actually watch the fucking film.

I can get behind this.

On second thought about the Dark Knight I realize the only reason I saw it was because of the viral campaign which led me to a IMAX theater. If Disney starting doing this for animated features it would be a sex crime.

1/10.

So hey I finally watched The Secretary. Whoever thought Maggie Gyllenhaal looks much better in that movie needs their eyes checked. So what if you see her tits, still average looking.

Also bush! Don't forget the bush!

I guess that the folks who frequent this thread might sort-of appreciate this, and I preemptively apologize for putting these in this thread. I can't find the cord for my camera, but I will try to post a full-costume picture or two once I get them on the computer. For now, all I can post are the after-Halloween Photo Booth shots of just my makeup.

This has been available for months in the hardcover script book.

Bleh, the bat pod version is the only way to go...

Not that I'm getting 45 bucks is too much money for a movie... even if it is a bat pod

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001GZ6QEC/?tag=neogaf0e-20

Really good price.
Oh wait, looking at the description the stardard blu-ray is 2 discs. So the LE is just for the additional Bat Pod.

For some reason I thought the Blu-Ray was 1 disc. I hate Amazon's Product Details.

I don't know if I should get the batpod edition or not. I would have no problem if it came with a normal blu-ray case and then the batpod separate, but it has the blu-ray stuff in a plastic shell thing.

I'll probably go for the standard 2 blu-ray one.

So there's only one LE for bluray and that's the batpod one? I'd rather get a LE without the batpod!

Gimme that Joker poster plz!

INT. CAR -- CONTINUOUS
The Joker looks back as his car SPEEDS away. He's breathing
hard, EXHILARATED. He touches the blood running down his
sweaty white makeup. SMACKS the back of the driver's seat-
DRIVER
What do we do about Dent?
THE JOKER
I'm a man of my word.

That would have been nice to keep in the film, if only to show that The Joker didn't just "disappear" after the party. ...Well, he did, but it would have at least shown him leaving.

They DROP- Batman FIRES his grapple, SNAGGING Rachel's ankle activates one wing of his cape- They SPIN and SLOW- Batman envelopes Rachel- they SLAM into the hood of a passing taxi.

Now see, this wasn't clear enough in the movie -- although it should be obvious that the grapple is what kept them from dying.

I've seen the movie three times and I'm convinced that he doesn't use a grapple. I thought he used his cape to slow them down just enough, and they didn't do a good enough job of selling it. Dent's death was obvious the first time, though.

I've also seen it three times and never remember him using any grapple. Certainly wasn't the most plausible scene.

THE SCRIPT IS A LIE! False information disseminated by Nolan to throw the fans off the plot of the third film!

My friend's uncle sold that issue to a man on eBay named Chris Nolan! Coincidence?

HARVEY LIVES

Naw man, I already read through that, and it leaned heavier on the script side than anything else, and now that that's free, the book doesn't have nearly as much value.

Still might ask for it if it's cheap enough.

And damn, Nolan is looking better than ever with the facial hair (he's looking more like DiCaprio everyday!). As for his lack of vests, he seems to be exhibiting what some like to call Billion Dollar Rock Star syndrome.

Just wanna say, I've had the soundtrack on repeat for the past 3 days and the special edition 2 disc with the incredible cover and 40 page artbook is now at the top of my christmas list.

Having this shit blaring on my stereo makes my ordinary life tasks so much more exciting.
