then went home and watched batman begins, and this movie is really bad in comparison to the dark knight

-oh and this movie could have been titeld "the joker" he was clearly the main charakter of the movie

Begins was the best comic adaption until the dark knight was released. There's only one thing that puts TDK a league over Begins and that is Heath Ledger.
But still BB is the most awesome origin story out there, period.

that whole action sequence had my theater screaming like girls.
 
3rd or 4th.

I was a little disappointed on my 3rd going around because the theatre exploded the first two times I saw that scene.

The 3rd there was muffled silence. :(

Finally had the chance to watch it tonight. Begins was a good movie, the best of its kind at the time, but TDK is an absolute masterpiece. I spent the whole movie all hunched up because of how stressed I was with what I was seeing in the screen.

I really hope this film gets some recognition from the Academy.

Took you long enough. Make sure you watch it 5 more times so you can catch up with the rest of us and push it over 500 million this weekend. I am going to catch it at the IMAX tomorrow if it isn't sold out which it shouldn't be at this point I would think.

like you said - dark knight is better - a lot better! "begins" villans were a joke! one gets nearly no intruduction and gets taser guned by a women- the other one i dont even remember being a batman vilan to begin with (no im not a batman nerd) ... DN just bitchslaped beginning in that very important department.

all i said was - DK >>>> "beginns"... there is no arguing about that, in comparison "beginns" is a bad movie.

so im sorry, i dont see my failure here. (different tastes)

Did you see it 35mm or IMAX?
 
Saw it yesterday for the first time...theater was completely sold out. Great movie and it will be interesting to see how they are going to do the next one. I don't think anyone will be able to top the Joker...

It's been on the internet for a long time.

A DVD Screener just showed up, though (basically DVD quality), which is the "leak."
 
The only thing about this movie that bugs the shit outta me is the way Batman looks at times and the way he speaks at times (really gets bad towards the end)

Well I'm kinda glad that a dvd scr got leaked because after seeing it 4 times in theaters, I didn't want to wait untill December ( why so long? ) till I saw it again at home :). Gonna buy the dvd for sure though.

and it also suggests that even if Nolan and gang do have a place to take the franchise in the next film, it won't be their original vision which was probably going to be far greater than whatever half measure they take for the follow up that will inevitably come

no that would be just as bad, no portrait of the Joker can work in contrast to Ledger's. It was just too pitch perfect. Any other characterization in this specific franchise might as well be a different character

That's what I thought at first. I really don't care anymore though. Ledger did an amazing job but he can be replaced.
