Raiders is fine and all, but it's no Matrix or Die Hard.

Die Hard is arguable, but Matrix?

And thank you Speeding & Wrath. It's nice to know I'm not alone in my love of Temple. *hugz*

The flying fuck?
Matrix is an overrated piece of crap that didn't age well and is slowly being forgotten.

Raiders is still loved and remembered.

Oh come the fuck on, Jedi was a great movie.

Yep. Not as good as Empire though, so people will automatically dock it.

But seriously, look at this miserable pile of LOLZ:
- Shrek 3
This implies any of the Shreks were good. Maybe the first one, but it was a bunch of cheap humor. "Katzenburg: Make it edgier!!!".

- Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End
The 3rd one was way better than the 2nd "y so srs" one. It was funnier, had one of the best cameos ever, and awesome fighting. Not on the level of POTC1 but whatever. Better than 2.

This is like comparing apples to oranges to kalimari.
All are excellent. Say what you want about the sequels, the first Matrix is an awesome movie and has aged beautifully and will forever be culturally relevant. Don't know what you're talking about there.

Science Fiction will never be in the limelight on a consistent basis.

Thank God that this ridiculous Matrix backlash is limited to the internet.

imo the problem with the 'third movie' is a lot of the ideas are burnt out. as long as nolan approaches it with a clear scope and ambition then it's okay. if it's to simply make batman 3 then fail.

It's not that I think The Matrix is a bad movie. I really liked it. Fuck, I bought the trilogy on HD-DVD.

But to call it the greatest action movie of all time? Yeah, it gets the arms folded smiley for that.

The 2nd one was more serious? They hung a child in one of the first scenes of At World's End!:lol

How can you not like the original Matrix?

They also had a fucking eel eat a man's face. Compare that to the stupid giant wheel fight at the end of the second one.

yea, I'm gonna have to disagree with you on that, given that it's one of my favorite action scenes ever...

Happy 41st birthday to Aaron Eckhart!!!!

Damn, I didn't he realize he was that old. Well, I guess that means he was 29 when he did In the Company of Men so I guess that makes sense. He is going to be 45 when he is playing Two-Face again. Damn.

I didn't say it was the greatest, but definitely one of the greatest.

I don't really see Raiders as an action movie. It's more of an adventure flick. When I think of an action movie, I think of...guns. Lots of guns.

Yea,I had no idea there was a 3rd brother, nor what the fuck he would be doing with his life that it was so drastically different from the other two. goddam

Won't work. Cage is too much of a pretty boy. What'll happen when I go see the movie and all the stupid little girls won't stop going all crazy when he comes on screen? It'll ruin the movie. I just can't see myself taking him seriously as a villain.

Yeah, I like Cage, but would I want to see him as a Batman villain? Feck no.
