Wake me up when he's done speaking.<span class="emoji-outer emoji-sizer"><span class="emoji-inner" style="background: url(chrome-extension://immhpnclomdloikkpcefncmfgjbkojmh/emoji-data/sheet_apple_64.png);background-position:67.5% 62.5%;background-size:4100%" title="sleeping"></span></span>

good one

Tim Kaine is a good dude but unfortunately he's been flanked by some of the best speakers in the party so his speech looks more bland and boring than it should.

This is the exact same speech as Miami. He seems much more nervous, though. He also missed the chance to talk more about that Armenian teacher who held the door after surviving the Holocaust and the Iron Curtain. That was a great line from Miami.

Hmmm, I want to say it's boring, but I don't know, he's like a kid, endearing. Likable, which I think is the point.

EDIT: He ad-lib that "bern by the other guy" line, and it was better than the rest of the speech. He's much better at rallies than big speeches so far.

He's a guy who can step in and run the country on day one if the worst were to happen.

He's rock solid and he's a good dude. That's a VP.

Isn't it going to be an issue if the president and the vice-president aren't very natural public speakers? Obama and Biden both seem to love this sort of stuff.

You can tell he's a bit overwhelmed by the moment and crowd but he'll calm down.

He's probably much better in intimate settings with a smaller crowd, like a rally than a stadium full of people.
