Last hit gets kill credit? Thats lame af

Old MMO rules...WoW use to be first hit 'tagged' it and got credit for kill even if they didn't kill it

Use to suck in those early zones with rare spawns or story spawns. Lots of grouping up so everyone could get the kill.

So veteren GAF, how does one learn this enchantment???

COKfM75.png

It is one of the Crafting professions called Enchanting. Here is brief overview:

Enchanting provides Glyphs in Elder Scrolls Online. Glyphs are enchantments which are applied on gear. There’s three types of glyphs: armor glyphs, weapon glyphs, and jewelry glyphs . Glyphs are crafted at enchanting station, typically found in towns. The combination of runes used to craft the glyph affects the quality and effects of the final glyph, much like the combination of reagents does in Alchemy.

To craft glyphs, the enchanter needs Runes. These are gathered in the world. The runestone nodes visually appear to be very small-sized shrines, which come in different colors. The color of the shrine defines the type of the rune.

When an enchanter crafts new glyphs, they will learn the translation of the runes used in the process. The translations define what kind of effects the rune will have in a glyph.

Personally, this crafting skill line is the most challenging/hardest that I have done. But it is worth it because of the ability to enhance gear to give it that extra stats that are important.

Unfortunately I'd only be able to play Skyrim on a PS3, and I've read that the PS3 VERSION doesn't run very well

They've managed to iron out the major issues. It does have a shitty framerate but once you get past that it's very playable. I put 300+ hours on it on PS3 and never encountered anything that prevented me from enjoying myself.

I rarely hear people talking. Weird.

I'm digging the game so far! Bought the fire horse and some costumes. Only level 5. On the heist quest.

I need to figure out where to respec attributes.

No reviews for this game?

And does this game use the TouchPad in amy neat ways??

A Bethesda game is exactly what I had in mind for TouchPad uses

Also, what does my skill can now be morphed mean?

It basically means that you have used enough of a certain skill and you have leveled it up so it can be morphed into a better skill. When you click on it, a skill that can be morphed will have 2 ways it can morph and it will tell you what each morph does, so you can decide what is best for your character. It does cost a skill point to do this however. This is how skills become pretty impressive because the morphs usually add a lot of extra punch to them.

Man i see people dying more in towns than I do in the wild. Those guards are brutal. I havent been caught stealing yet, but I see everyone else is getting caught left and right and the guards is swiftly taking care of them.

Why does he wear the mask!?
Thanks.

How do I find quests to pick up? Just run around and hope I see a black arrow?

Also, whats the best crafting tree to go for?

What crafting skills are best? Dunno what to invest in

That is part of customizing your character man. If you want to make Wood items such as staffs, bows, shields etc. you want Woodworking. If you want to make metal items like swords, hammers, axe's etc. you would go Blacksmithing. It really depends on what you want to do.

Do you want to be someone that makes items for others to trade and sell? Do you want to master a profession that your own characters is progressing towards? You need to decide that. Crafting can be a lot of fun, but it does take an investment.

Pay attention to your morphs! I mean you can always re-spec later in Wayrest for a cost, but most specs now split into a Magika or Stamina based ability. Obviously you can mix, but most people go heavily into one or the other.

Also regarding the crafting question. Really just go with what you want. I highly recommend provisioning for a new player though at least. Alchemy is great too for potions, etc.

Thanks! Not sure what to do. I play as a healer in FFXIV so maybe I should switch it up here and go Sorcerer.

You can always go Templar which has healing, but have a healing and another build. You can always swap out weapons, equipment and skills at will. You can spec a lot of ways in this game.

I am on-line now with my Wood, BlackSmith, Clothier crafter. If anyone needs items crafted, send me a message in game and I can craft items for you. GT is Hawk269, Xbox One, Currently at the fountain in the starting town (Daggerfall Covenant). I will need to know the following:

1. What Race are you *in game race*?
2. What level of item do you want?
3. Do you want a special trait added to it? For example, do you want it to give a bonus to exploration, training etc. If you select training, the more you use an item with a training trait, the faster you level up your armor level/abilities.
4. What item do you want?

We can go into a group chat as I make the items as well which would make it a lot easier.

Sounds good. Guess I'm going Templar.

I wouldn't mind crafting my own staff, as well as making gold from i.

Find this fix for some. If you're having problems or know anyone who is. This could be handy. My friend hasn't been able to login since release and this helped him instantly.

Crap, looks like I chose Ebonheart Pact without realizing it. I already made my character, is it possible to switch to Daggerfall? Normally I'd start a new character but I actually secured the name I wanted. Am I screwed from playing with GAF members?

Damn PSN.

My 15 gig download was going great and fast until the last gig, then suddenly it decided to drop down to a snails pace and it's been downloading the final gig for an hour and a half now and at this pace, another 45 minutes before it's finished.

Should i dismantle all weapons/armour that I'm not using early on in the game? I'm level 6.

That really depends on how deep into crafting you want to go. I personally sold all the whites and broke down all the greens and above I wasn't going to use. I continue to do this on my main crafters to help get materials.

Delete that character and make new one on Dagger fall, I mean, what are the chances someone picks that name before you make a new character

You can delete your character and re-use the same name. I did it twice!

I'd say do like the above and delete/remake. You'll get the name back if you're fast for sure. Also you'll have a better grasp on starting out now :)

Server is definitely imploding upon itself. The delay between pressing the interaction button and the game recognizing it is like 5+ seconds.

I swore since Ultima Online way way way back in the day that I would never mine again... I am out running around looking for Iron.

What have I become?

Can't link my ESO account, keeps telling me my username or password is incorrect when it's definitely now.

Assuming this is because of server issues?

Have to wait man these type of games are going to be rough on day one.

Well, when I pay $60 for a game I expect to be able to play it. The fault is on their end. If I could get a refund like Steam is doing I would do it right now without even blinking.

If I delete my character and re-do it all over, is the name I used reserved? I'd hate to somehow lose it to someone out there who randomly punches the name in as I'm at a loading screen. Ugh.

Wasn't sure I was feeling this game after an hour or two. The more I play though the more I can feel that I enjoy spending time in the world now. Still very early on though but think I shall spend a fair chunk of time in this game. I'm really bad for always having the feeling of "am I doing this right" though and not just going with the flow, trying to ensure I'm in the right place doing the right quests for my level etc.

That worked for me, thank you!
