so there's a bug with the game where sometimes it makes my xbox dim my TV for some reason and I have to restart to fix it

Goto social>voice and its all there. You can be in multiple channels to hear, but select which one you talk in. You can mute/leave entire channels or just individuals within each channel, etc.

btw you do not have to be level 10 to join a guild... I've already invited like 4 people into xb1 guild who are under 10.

Waiting for my invite so I can load up the guild bank and delete one of my characters that was made just to hold everything.

It's a long shot, but is there anywhere to download the PS4 update file and then transfer it across via USB stick? My PS4 download speed is pathetic right now, averaging about 1GB an hour. My PC just downloaded a 1.5GB file in minutes, so if I can use it, I will.

So the beastly 15 gig download is about to finish. Is GAF mostly daggerfall? or does it seem like everyone is split.

Still not sure where to start.

I'm 99% sure it's not possible unless it's available from ESO/ZOS directly, which I highly doubt. It's a shame now that you mention it, it would be good to be able to download patches via the internet and install from USB just like system updates.

Really enjoying it so far. Overwhelmed but enjoying it. Funny to hear people say, "Xbox, snap..." in nearby voice chat. I don't mind it too much though. Kind of tired of reading text in MMOs to be honest. Plan to be a healing Templar mostly but dabble with bows and dual wield a little too.

Any actual MMO vets playing this on consoles? Would be interested in some impressions.

I played the closed beta for a few hours on PC and felt like the simple controls were better suited for a game pad so I'd be down to check this out again mainly out of love for this universe/series.

I usually like to play healer. How's Templar? Do they do melee or ranged damage as healers? Do healers play a significant role in this game? Might go Sorcerer instead.

Healers are absolutely required for dungeons, trials and large group pvp

So I've never played an Elder Scrolls game or an MMO.

How easy is it for me to get into this?

I'm a huge fan of super large games with open areas though

Ton of lag in Daggerfall.

Outside of the city it seems smooth.

Really liking the way the game controls with the DS4. Really going to miss my skyshard/lorebook addons.

From the beta, I'd say pretty damn easy.

But you might be better off starting with something older like Skyrim since it'l be a cheaper and safer bet in case you don't like it. It's got a massive map, loads to explore, lots of cities and towns and great things to discover, great music, or even safer bet get Morrowind or Oblivion as they are even cheaper.

I transferred my character from PC, and started a new Mage and she had a mount from the beginning... or is it that mounts are shared across all characters?

I'm not sure, but mine will be raptor.

So is there a hearthstone or the only way to get back to town is Teleport on a friend that is there

Noob question: My friend said that the faction you choose is what dictates what races you can play as. Is that true? But the Explorers Pack gets rid of that?

Unfortunately I'd only be able to play Skyrim on a PS3, and I've read that the PS3 VERSION doesn't run very well
