The Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel Unlimited - |OT| - Console edition

Do you guys generally select every skill in every class tree? Some reason I find myself not wanting to over select skills and thus I sit on points. Mainly because I have no build ideas.

You will have more than enough points to fill out every skill line and then some. Probably best to be a bit more selective while leveling though, and the best idea is to probably ignore the passive bonuses and fill out the active ones first.

right perhaps someone can help me. Is the
restoring order and A bit of Sport
quests bugged. They are showing up as green in my quest log but whenever I do them I get my arse handed to me consistently. Help :)

it's so strange because Neverwinter and Warframes cash items are sub-$10 for major things. Neverwinter's items are very fairly priced.

Its WoW's pricing model for their mounts. Its absurd but hell I'm thinking of buying it. Its that frost...

Dungeons need to either teleport you to them or tell you what level they require, I see a shit ton and am just lost in group finder.

I ran out of quests except the one main quest that is too high for me to do, I can't find random quests

I'm about to roll a toon on the other end of the world just to see what it looks like

Yeah even wow had teleport stones

I had to teleport to party member (got to a teleport thing) then run through a bunch of higher level mobs (dying once) in order to get to a lower level dungeon....not fun

If I recall correctly you'll be able to teleport to the entrance when you've discovered it.

I just discovered the beauty of emotes, I'm in the dungeon entrance waiting for these randoms and I'm just sweeping the ground

Its amazing and I think the only MMO with so many varied emotes thanks to sharing the NPC's pool.

Enough for class skills and weapon? Both staff types for this guy.

Shows that its working. the fact that WoW has an amount that high for a sub based game is the terrible thing here.

I just realized after weeks that food and drinks don't stack on each other. It makes provisioning useless since I don't even need that many items anymore

Just got to stormhaven level 15, and now I think I may be in way over my head. The enemies here are grouped together, and do a huge amount of damage. I fought a quest boss and was damn near one shot. Any tips on not getting killed? Fighting more then 1 enemy now=death every single time.

What most people do is go out and kill lower level mobs and level up a little. If you are 15 and the enemy is 15 but in groups, it can be a bit challenging. It also depends on your class, if you are a healer, you basically have a glass jaw and can't take much. So it does vary a lot.

Oh, what's the NA guild called? Didn't see anything in the OP.

There are Gaf guilds for both Console versions, most are Daggerfall Covenant on both Xbox One and PS4. Any faction can join the guilds, but as someone said, you cannot PVP together.

I am in 3 Guilds that have 500 members (the max) and they work great for selling due to the amount of people and a lot are from different factions. The benefit of a big organized guild is getting the guild traders which act as Stores out in the world so non-guild members talk to them like a npc and they sell the goods for the guild store. It works out pretty good.

Me and my cousin was thinking about getting the ps4 version. Is this game active on console? How large is the player base? How is it find groups? If someone can give me the basic rundown I would really appreciate it. Also is there a GAF guild?

Just got this game at a deal. As a person that wants a single player experience, how fucked am I?

Not at all. I have been playing it with one of my characters and for the most part I have been doing it all solo. There are some world bosses that will be a challenge, but usually there are people around that can help. You wont be able to do the dungeons (the main ones) on your own, but the majority of quests and the main quest like can be done solo till the end.

Both versions are very populated. At all hours of the day and night you will find people running around the cities. As you adventure out (the world is massive) you may find times of being alone, but that at times is good too. I know some have issues with the group finder tool, but I normally don't have issues finding groups to do dungeon runs with.

There are some massive guilds on both console versions and Gaf has their own guild for both versions as well. You can be in 5 different guilds. I am currently in 5 guilds (1 Gaf Guild, 1 PVP Guild and 3 Trade Guilds (each has 500 members)). So when in a guild it is easy to go to guild chat and ask for help or to group up. I have also been in towns just doing my crafting and people just calling out "Looking for a group to do a dungeon run" and usually within minutes they have 4 members and off they go.

So in short very active, very populated, lots of fun and a lot of different guilds to join and be part of.

So after 30 levels of playing my fire DK I find out that if I would have picked dark elf I would have had a pretty nice boon to my fire damage. I wasn't paying attention to racials really since in most MMOs they don't really do too much.

Not too big of a deal since I went with my heart and made an Argonian because I love them but man I would be lying if I said I didn't want that increased damage.

Anyway, 30 levels in and still loving the game. Really enjoying the story lines in Greenshade (I am AD) and I am having a lot of fun in dungeons.

Anyone here using ESO Plus? Are the gains in gold/exp/etc. noticeable enough to consider it?

Just picked this game up last night for PS4. Big Elder Scrolls fan and i have read that a lot of the problems that plagued this game in the beginning are worked out now.
Im only a couple hours into it, but im really enjoying it so far. I mostly plan on playing solo until i hit dungeons. But i feel this is a good game to kill some time for a few months till Fallout comes out.
Playing a Dark Elf Sorc. Fun stuff. :)

Does the melee in this game feel just as floaty as in the other Elder Scrolls games? The fact that your haracter never (?) has to comit itself to the movement makes it feel as if everything is light.

Man, if there was something like an Elder Scrolls online with Tera Online combat.

Also remember that the stuff in the guild bank is there to be used! Lots of potions and various food/drink items, especially for the lower levels. You'd be amazed what some stale bread can do for you...

I really want to continue playing this, but the lack of text chat is killing me. It's crazy that they didn't include support for it on the console when the console releases of other mmos had it.

World just seems to empty without it.

Minor nitpick, but it's small things like this that really bother me.

I don't like a lot of the armor, so to combat this I spent/wasted 5k (creating) and 2k (buying) a plain Tabard to cover up whatever ghastly looking chest piece that I'm wearing because of it's higher stats. But unlike chest pieces where the belt buckle only shows, not the strap, when wearing a Tabard you can see the strap, which doesn't change color so unless you're wearing light brown it sticks out as the only piece of gear you're wearing that's light fucking brown.

You can dye it can you not? (I'm a n00b but I know I saw a dye station at one point)

The strap/belt doesn't change color, only the buckle. You can't even see the strap unless wearing a Tabard, it only shows the buckle with armor.

Edit: It actually seems to just be a strap for the Tabard itself, since when you unequip the belt your wearing, the brown strap stays. Hideous.

Same boat. I've amassed up to 5 skill points before because I have no idea about the build. I've already upgraded what I normally use.. I don't know what to put points to.

Figured at some point I'd figure out what the best build is for my redguard templar and respec.

Don't forget you can respec your skills and morphs, etc. later on if you like. It costs around 100g per skill point so it's not TOO expensive. You can also do this with stats.

Yeah at around level 24 it only cost me like 2,100 fold, well worth it

Man, I can't seem to have enough skill points. I spend them as soon as I get them. I've done all skill quest and collected all skill points in all areas from glemnubra to alik'r desert. Have like over 100 skill points, still aint enough, lol.

Crafting takes up a shit ton of skill points.

Have you collected the skyshards? Collecting all of them in the DC areas gets you I think 28 skill points.

You're going to have to make sacrifices crafting wise, don't assume you can do all of them :)
