I forget exactly but it was multiple minutes per frame for the render. I wanna say it was on a render farm. What hardware is this running on?
Kind of an interesting video about some new research paper that aims to eliminate clipping. I don't have much to add since it speaks for itself, but thought some of you may find it interesting too.
TLDR : Don't expect it anytime soon. It's resource heavy
In recent memory I was disappointed with quite a bit of clip in Yotei. There were instances I saw birds flying through a rock texutre, Atsu's katana clipping through the bounty armor when she pulls out the Katana during the cinematics in a duel.

Couldn't have said it better myselfThe absolute worst is the little gaps you make by pulling down the wooden boards, shes more than twice the width of the gap with the ghillie suit looking armor on, let alone the backpack guy you're with at one point who is about 4 times the width of the gap ha.
You play games long enough and you know these things happen, its expected, but its still much better than it was in the past nowadays generally so when you see egregious examples like that in an otherwise pretty immersive game it stands out.
By PS80 we'll have perfectly realistic hair with no clipping.
