As the episode proper finished, I thought "That was rather average".
But,But,But when the bonus bit came on, I was enthralled.
P.s. Never noticed before, but what hairy arms Kyles got. He's a freaking werewolf.

I remember when I first discovered the bonus bits and from then on I always waited to see them.

That was a great episode indeed. Although I gotta be honest, I don't really care (and I think neither should the devs) that people are not finishing the game, they still bought the copy, and there are still people who bought it and are actually expecting a bang for their buck, which they will complete.
Making the game shorter would make those completionists (or those who at least see the ending) feel as if the game wasn't worth it for their money and will choose not to buy it again, leaving less resources for a follow up game, which limits the game further.
Plus, as Kyle showed at the bonus bit, devs do love to put those things in. Specially Kojima.

One thing i find even more crazy with achievements is when you look at how many people get the very first achievement in a game for completing the most basic task or the tutorial. Some games on steam only have about 70% of people with that achievement, which means 30% must play the game for almost no time at all and never again.

Fantastic episode (mainly due to the bonus segment).
Those PSN trophy statistics are indeed interesting. It's a bit sad to see some of them, like how little some people will finish a game I've really enjoyed, but I guess it's inevitable.
I don't think it would be in a developer's best interests to shorten the length of their game for those who don't finish them, though.

Why doesnt Kyle post on GAF?
He is pretty much anti-cynicism and GAF has become a pit of despair where everything is the worst thing ever the last few years.
Of course, he has posted before on here and makes appearances in threads from time to time.

Better than many professionals, that's for sure. Not that he's super amazing, but there are plenty of bad actors in Hollywood.

Watched this after catching with Leakfest 2014. Can't wait for next Wednesday where he probably will talk about that and Nintendo's new strategies.
