The Final Bosman Show

That stream is great. There is now audio/visual of Kyle Bosman saying "Psn_mikewarrior on twitter is an idiot." (He was reading someone's comment)

Did you catch his comment about the Gamecube controller? I died.

"That thing is the best thing I've ever held in my hands, and I've held boobs."

FYI, the word "Halo" was spoken 41 times as far as I could tell. Did not keep track of "content" in Sony's presser but it seemed like they were careful not to use that word too much.

The eShop of Horrors

Kind of a stinker.
I like a more researched, thought out episode, well, on the road I guess.

Yeah...this episode wasn't very good at all.
It feels like Bosman barely took the time to consider why Nintendo would be so lenient towards indie devs and their software. He just rambled and made a tired "Nintendo is a dumb elephant dur hur!" joke (C'mon Bosman, you're better than that)
Any sign of strictness on Nintendo's part will not be well received by their fan community or indie devs in an age where every other digital store-owner is just as lenient about what gets on their product.
Plus, the WiiU's user-base is pretty good at trashing garbage games on Miiverse; it's quite easy to avoid the bad software if you fiddle around with the "app" (plus Nintendo regularly highlights/advertises big quality indie software like Shovel Knight in their videos and on the eShop)
I really don't see any need for Nintendo to heavily moderate the store, especially when this also leads to a wider array of unique and interesting software (good or bad)

A First Fifteen with Brandon Jones. Called A Night To Forget Forever

Kyle has never ridden a skeleton t-rex in a game before?

Hmmmmm....

Nice to see you are back Kyle! A nice bit of positivity after all the negativity going on right now. As for the music I don't know not really feeling it.

10 out of 10. Goddamn I just love this show so much. Love the new studio, the well-lit office, and Kyle's sharp looking suit.

This episode was a little short for my taste (mainly because I never want them to end) but Bosman was really back in his element. I don't think the past few Bosmans on the Road were bad like some people, but he was stressed and down (as he alluded to directly, multiple times) and it showed. Finally getting into the new space has reenergized the show in a noticeable way.

And Kyle, the music could use some work. It didn't have quite the punch of the old stuff (which I'm gonna miss), but I trust you'll find it.

Edit: Kinda disappointed that finally getting a bigger desk was put out there with no fanfare. The canon of Final Bosman is my favorite element of the show. The tiny desk, Mr. Mime, the girl from the coffee shop (or was it sandwich shop? Edit: Deli. I am ashamed); love it all.

My favorite Bosman moment is when Damiani takes over and Kyle gives one last "Mr. Mime." before popping his collar and walking away to that awesome track. I must have watched that scene a dozen times. And then I downloaded the song. Hahaha. Truth.

*ahem* the girl is from the deli man, get it right

Thank god this show is back. The only "gaming personality" shows I watch are this and Jimquisition, and while I love Jim... I need some positivity nowadays. Excellent call on the theme. Nothing like some good old fashioned lighthearted Bosmanness.

FANTASTIC EPISODE. I know I ragged on him a couple pages back, but man this episode was a real return to form. We've missed you Kyle.

One thing I really want to point out about this episode is the mention to the other things going on right now in the U.S. and even the world. His belief that the world needs a bit more positivity than cynicism on such a relatively trivial issue was very nuanced and insightful. Stuff like this elevates Bosman above all others. He's very frank and doesn't ignore that bad things are happening outside video games and how those things can actually have an affect on us as gamers and more importantly as people.

Tell Kyle that the lore is what keeps everyone coming back to the show. His opinions too, but mostly the lore.

It's almost like a new season right now, I just hope there's a Huber and Damiani fight for control of Bosman. SHAPOW.

This post is brought to you by that Damiani Flavour

Missed this show. Great episode, and it was cool to see Kyle mention the live stream he did before Gamescom. I was one of those weirdos watching! Probably the only stream I've watched where I was actually active in the chat, and it was a lot of fun. He got progressively weirder as the night went on. You could see the lack of sleep take its toll on his mind with each game.

I feel bad he had to eat at a Baja Fresh. No one should ever have to resort to that.

I think you're joking but that's actually true for me :/. I love the lore or canon or continuity or whatever you want to call it. Man, that Liquid Bosman pulled at my heartstrings and then Bosman just straight up murders him! And he said that he knows future Bosman (where is he??) and did Liquid really die? I'm honestly totally into this stuff. It's a parallel universe where all the games are the same but the world is nuts. I could watch a show of just that, but I think writing only that would get pretty stressful for Kyle.

I agree with Kyle about streaming. I only recently got into it, ironically because of Gametrailers. I was part of that all night stream he did in advance of Gamescom and it was indeed a weird social connection that is only possible through streaming.

Also, a few days ago on a GT stream Brandon Jones said "The Lamonster" responding to something I said on the chat.

It was a pretty big deal for me since I've been listening to the guy's iconic voice for YEARS.

I'm waiting for Big Bosman and the Naked Bosman origin story where Hueber is Volgin and Mike D is EVA or something.
