Preventing Thawne from existing in the first place also prevents him from accelerating the plans for the particle accelerator, preventing Barry from getting turned into the Flash much earlier than he was supposed to be. So yeah, paradox all over the place.

So...back to the original timeline then?

Eddie slips into the speedforce...reappears in the adjusted timeline...hates Barry for stealing his girl...becomes new Zoom.
